Hotel hat viel Potenzial, aber Management hat viele Probleme

- sehr nettes Personal, sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich

Cons:

- Komplikationen beim einchecken, konnten nicht auf unser Zimmer und mussten 2 Stunden warten bis wir einchecken konnten. Es gab ein kostenloses Abendessen als Kompensation. Keine sehr gute Qualität des Essens.
- Chaos beim Frühstück, Essen wurde nicht regelmäßig nachgestockt, z.T viel zu wenig Essen verfügbar. Tische wurde nicht abgeräumt und nachgedeckt. Man musste sich alles selber zusammen suchen
- Personal für Frühstück und Abendessen waren überhaupt nicht eingearbeitet. Wussten überhaupt nicht wie sie ihren Job machen sollen (sehr hilflos)

Cons:

I made the mistake of booking half board. The hotel's website says the restaurant serves 'gourmet meals reflecting Scotland's rich culinary heritage '. In fact you are offered a choice of only three meals, quiche, pie, or fishcake, salad and tortilla chips the night I dined. The breakfast was bland too, certainly not the rich cultural heritage I was hoping for. The hotel catered for coaches and weren't really geared up for independent bookings. Because the meal was so poor I did not feel that I had value for money.

The staff weren't very friendly, there were holes in the wall in the bathroom, the furniture had stains and things stuck to it, and the hotel was run down.

Pros:

Bel établissement dans une ancienne station thermale agréable. Bien situé et calme.
Déco écossaise avec de belles boiseries dans les salons.
Bon petit déjeuner dans l'ensemble : bon choix mais qualité moyenne.

Cons:

Le contact par mail n'était pas top. Pas de réponse satisfaisante à mes questions. Personnel sur place moyennement expérimenté et efficace.
Chambres éparpillées . Corridors sans fin !
