Lovely evening meal deal ......
Pros:

Dinner was good.

Cons:

The walkways were really icy ..... no salt down.
Buffet breakfast was actually order only ..... told no chefs.
Evening receptionist had to do that, plus tend the bar and serve meals.
Needs a good coat of paint.

Pros:

It was a very pleasant stay and I was looked after very well, I didn’t eat there.
Unfortunately due to my Mother In Law passing away on Friday night I had to travel home on Saturday so actually only stayed 4 nights. The Hotel told me that if I reported this to you that I should receive a refund for the 5th night. Please let me know if this is the correct place to report this and if this is the case. Many thanks Charlie Oakshott

Cons:

All good

Underwhelming in what could be a very special location.
Cons:

The hotel is very run down and in need of a good atmosphere / welcoming attitude. There is a musty smell as soon as you walk through the door. The cleanliness really needs to improve, we had dead flies all over the room and inside of the light shades.

The staff were very unhelpful and almost seemed puzzled when we asked any questions about dinner reservations. It was almost like it would be an effort for them and the chef to include us. Very strange energy!

Pros:

Only had breakfast

Cons:

We arrived at 9.00 for breakfast with limited interaction from staff. No one advised it was self service and due to time there was a lack of cutlery and supplements ie jams for use. Whilst the room was great, breakfast was overpriced for what was available.

Pros:

The main bar area with the wood panelling and entertainment. Breakfast was good.

Cons:

we couldn't book an evening meal as there were too many guests already booked in. Queues for the bar were long and there was no cask ale.
