Kind, pleasant staff. Good room in a good location and good value for money.
Pros:

The room was clean, fresh, and a good size. Staff kindly upgrading our room to one with a good view over the village and onto the local hillside. Very nice.

Cons:

Over the 2 day stay it was not possible to operate the TV as there was no controller.
The breakfast could have been better.

Was fine but won’t be back
Pros:

Staff were friendly and easy to find

Cons:

Ordered a double room and was giving a twin room and told there was nothing they could do to change it,
Shower had no pressure,
Wall had damp patches,
Heating was on non stop even though the radiators where turned all the way down and thermostat at 0 found the place far to hot to sleep especially with the bed being springy and wobbly,
Room was situated at the front of the main doors of the floor to go to lift/stairs which squeaked so woken up every time someone came up or down stairs to their room

The property is very dated and would benefit from modernisation. Dinner menu was limited but the food was good.

Nothing special - and expensive for what we got.
Pros:

Nice location, nice room and friendly staff.

Cons:

Breakfast. Three coach parties were staying at the hotel and they literally "hoovered" up the buffet breakfast leaving stressed staff struggling to replenish for the other guests staying there. This left little real choice, and lots of dirty tables for those of us travelling independently and no doubt paying a premium over the coaches to stay there. Not acceptable.
