the staff and ambience was excellent
the pool could be a little cleaner.
Very well located
It’s needs some maintenance
The café being open till 3 am was honestly a game-changer — after late-night drives or long beach evenings, we never had to scramble for food outside. Just came back, settled in under the fairy lights, and ordered dessert and coffee like it was the most normal thing in the world. That kind of unhurried, late-night vibe is something most hotels simply don't offer.
Honestly, the garden at The Tamarind was an unexpected highlight — mango and jackfruit trees, a charming little wishing well, and quiet pathways that make you forget you're at a hotel. It feels more like a cozy old Goan estate than any concrete resort. My morning walks around the property with a cup of coffee were something I genuinely looked forward to every single day — sometimes even more than heading to the beach.
Nice vibes and great location
Such a old hotel well maintained and management has taken well care of this place. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Specially Teresa helped us.
Breakfast was included and staff were very friendly.
The property has great potential but is looking a little run down and tired. We were served fanta on arrival, which was a terrible first experience (rather than a beautiful local fruit juice). The swimming pool was half empty when we arrived, and looked too run down and filthy to swim in, disappointing when you have kids.
My stay at The Tamarind Hotel, Anjuna was truly delightful. The property has a serene charm with beautiful Mediterranean-inspired architecture that instantly gives off warm Greece-like vibes. The room was tastefully designed, bright, and inviting — perfect for a peaceful Goan getaway.
The staff were exceptionally courteous and attentive, always greeting with a smile and eager to help with even the smallest requests. The ambience of the hotel felt both relaxing and homely..
Overall, it was a memorable experience filled with comfort, charm, and genuine hospitality. I would happily return on my next visit to Goa.
I loved every aspect of the hotel and the facilties but there are three points of improvement.
Three Points-
1) if i can have a bicycle on rent
2) Breakfast to have more options
3) Swimming pool to be more clean and clear and have certain timings so that the maintence can happen
Rooms were very spacious and extremely comfortable,
Staff was very polite and warm, the restaurant offers great breakfast.
Nothing
Great location and cozy hotel. The pool needs an upgrade.
Bedrooms lovely food good and staff pleasant
Pool not great but it is monsoon I guess
Loved the property as it’s close to all good pubs . The property had a functional poor, restaurant and a bar which made it very convenient for us during monsoons
Due to the monsoon the room felt a little damp and also had flies . So the room could have been dusted better
Breakfast buffet was excellent — everything was super fresh and tasty. My only concern was seeing quite a bit of food wastage by some other guests, which felt a bit disappointing.
No complaints as such!! My stay was very smooth!!
Extremely well located cozy property with great staff. The Cotinga Cafe and the bar are great too.
The pool desperately needs as upgrade. Some of the are great but then some aren’t airy enough and have a little bit of dampness.
The ambience is absolutely romantic and serene – tucked away from the hustle and bustle. It gave me the peaceful holiday I was looking for. The setting is quiet, intimate, and ideal for unwinding with a loved one.
Nothing!! it was beyond my expectations..
The Bakery and Al Carte Menu of the inhouse restaurant Cotingo was very good, the hotel location was very convenient, you can take the local bus or book a cab to nearby attractions like Vagator/Anjuna breach and other eating joints, also walking distance to the Miraculous Cross recommended by the staff which was worth the morning walk.
Though the room was good. There was no view from the window. As it was raining, all we could see was thee roof of the hotel. Also The complimentary breakfast should have included some Ala Carte items as well.
I just got back from The Tamarind Hotel in Anjuna, and honestly, it was a fantastic stay. What stood out most was the service — the team was attentive without being pushy, and they really made sure everything went smoothly. It’s clear they care about their guests.
The food was really good, too. I tried a few local dishes and some seafood specialties, and everything was well-prepared and tasty. Breakfast was filling and had a nice variety, which made starting the day easier.
The pool was a lovely place to relax after a day out exploring Goa. My room had an amazing view that made waking up a joy. The whole place has this laid-back, warm vibe that made me feel at home. If you’re visiting Anjuna and want a chill but quality stay, I’d recommend giving The Tamarind a try.
Everything was nice!!!!!
