Location was further away from The Bund than I had anticipated but we used the hop on/off bus as transportation.

L'habitació era immensa, amb una banyera molt gran al mig del lavabo. Teníem una pica per a cadascú. L'esmorzar era molt variat.
This is a very good hotel for the money and the location would be hard to beat. Breakfast is great. Particularly good touch is the array of Chinese teas available. Great to have water, tea and coffee all laid on in the lobby. Staff were great.
The property is in a good location and your near to old town center.
The hotel has a great location. Walking distance to Yuyuan Garden, Xintiandi and Bund. Great selection of Western breakfast for Chinese hotel. Very comfortable bed and pillows.
Good and bad - We forgot a couple of items in the hotel. Once we realised (we were already in the other town) we contacted the hotel. The jacket was found and we managed to get it back via our friends.
One of items we forgot at the hotel (chocolate frogs in the fridge) were not found. Guess they were either thrown away or stolen by personnel (they were sealed, had Universal sticker on them and it was clearly visible this is not just a waste).
Also, the hotel is older than on the photos. The room we had was very dark and the bathroom needs renovation.
