Barsala does a poor job communicating through Expedia about the check-in process so you must check your email for instructions. I wish they had a more detailed explanation of the check-in process on Expedia and I wish it wasn’t so complicated. Their email said I had to fill out a form and wait 15-30 mins for further instructions. That wait was an hour and a half long. Then, I had to wait even longer for an invite from another app just to get into the apartment . Frustrated after waiting an hour for an email that I never got, I decided to give them a call which got disconnected. I call them again, call disconnects. They never called me back, by the way. I was the one who had to keep calling. I had paid for 2 parking passes but I only got one so my girlfriend had to park at the nearby hospital overnight. At least they refunded me for parking. The apartment itself was clean, but there was also a roach above the AC unit. I wish I could share the picture. For a company that charges so much for service fees, they sure do a very poor job. The only good part about this stay was the location. Needless to say, I will never book another stay with the Barsala group again. Their customer service is terrible and the check-in process alone is ridiculous.
