Hotel is located 10 mins from Pattaya city by car, and we loved that. You get peace and quiet and the most amazing views. We were treated and met really well from the staff. We especially enjoyed the service from the pool-bar-staff as well of the pool-men who handed out the towels. Also the staff at the Sunset Bar was absolutely great. So nice and friendly. Thank you for that.
We stayed at the Beach terrasse hotel in anniversary suites. Again beautifull views and comfortable bed. Bathroom is a little outdated and very the sink very small. Housekeeping excellent.
The poolareas are the best thing about this place. Easy to get sunbeds in both sun and shadow and the poolbar have a varied menu in drinks and foods.
Fitness-room/club is great and there is also a cool poolarea.
All in all a great stay.
There was a huge dinosaur placed close to the poolarea we used. It was “roaring”/saying loud noises all day, which we found irritatiting to listen to when you wanna relax. It was some kind of advertising, so probably/hopefully not there for good.

My partner and I have just thoroughly enjoyed two delightful weeks at this fantastic resort; ideally located a short (20minutes) walk from Pattaya and Jomtien (45minutes). It has its own private beach and safe swimming area.
Check in was super smooth and we were privileged to get our room earlier than expected.
The room itself was amazing, everything one could ask for, impeccably clean and well presented, superb views and ultra comfortable. Our lovely lady cleaner, Vasana, kept our room spotless and well stocked during our stay, and is a great credit to her employers.
The breakfast menu selection was fantastic, all nationalities were catered for and such an amazing selection of food was always available, only the grumpiest of guests would find it difficult not to find something!!! The service staff were delightful and so friendly, again a great credit to the hotel.
The hotel complex is quite a size, we enjoyed the lovely swimming pools and also enjoyed the beautiful beach; towels are provided at all locations and are freshly laundered. The security staff and lifeguards were also super friendly and a credit.
We were fortunate enough to enjoy the once monthly Grand Buffet, a gastronomical feast that shouldn’t be missed, we also enjoyed an absolutely delicious meal in the Indian restaurant, Maharani, which shouldn’t be missed either.
We honestly didn’t experience one member of the staff who didn’t make us feel welcome, from the delightful smiles of the staff at reception and the breakfast dining room, the kitchen staff and chefs, the cheerful cleaning staff, the lovely security guards who saluted us in the evening; thank you all for such an amazing experience.
And as for the hotel, again we honestly couldn’t fault anything and thank you Chaiyanan for allowing us the later check out and we very much hope to return one day.

Comfy, great location
The interior architecture and interior design of all the buildings on the complex was stunning. Its a huge resort with 5 major buildings on the grounds. There is a driver on request to take you to the gym complex or restaurants. There are 5 restaurants available. Japanese, Indian, ala carte, seafood and Thai. The beach section allocated to the resort is patrolled by security and has a roped off netted swimming zone. Stayed in the honeymoon rooms on the terrace and the beds were very comfortable. Room was very clean, large with a great shower and deep big sized bath. The balcony faces west so in the morning with the curtains closed is very dark allowing for a long sleep in if you like. It also gives you great sunsets over the ocean from your room.
Food prices are typically a little higher then outside the resort but a quick 10 minute walk and you get access to street food and many cliff top restaurants and good massage places if you are looking for something else
The Royal Cliff complex lived up to its billing. Perfect for a holiday of relaxation with beach access, whilst connected to a city that has services in need. Noted there werr hotels next to the main centre beach, but Royal Cliff allows you to escape the hustle and bustle. Great rooms at good value, multiple choice in terms of restaurants and most importantly, great service by staff all round delivered with a smile.
