Easy to go anywhere and more comfortable

Right beside Thamrin city. The staff are friendly and helpful. The service are excellent.

Breakfast was reasonable and staff was friendly.

I was travelling with my husband and adult children. The hotel was located exactly opposite of Thamrin Square and around 8 min walk to the biggest shopping mall in Indonesia, Grand Indonesia. So it was really strategically located. There was even a small 24 hours convenient store next to it. But most of all were that the staff, especially the front office. They were really so helpful when I complained that one of the rooms were smelling of cigarette smoke. Apparently the previous guest were smoking inside a non smoking room. When I lodged the complain to the bellhop, he went straight to the front office and informed them. They then came with another card for a different room. But when I said that I wanted to continue with the room, they arranged for the housekeeping staff to spray the room to get rid of the smell. They were also accommodative when we wanted to leave our 13 bags at their concierge after checked out, and came back later to collect. The lady helped carry and arranged all the bags, even the heavy ones.
Overall the hotel was really good even though it was a bit old but the furnishing implied that once it could be a 5 star hotel, with marble and granite flooring and walls. Only the downside was the bathroom. It was a little old and the shower area was not fully blocked with glass door, so the water splashed onto the bathroom floor. The wc also smelled when flushed, but the smell went off in a while. But it did not bother us as the rooms were smelling nice as the hotel put effort in installing automatic room air freshener in all the rooms. The hotel smell nice throughout, even in the elevator. As for the bed, it was huge. With extra pillows. The bed was also very comfortable. We had proper good night rest. It was also not that noisy even though this hotel was centrally located at the main shopping area.
I fully recommend this hotel which I considered as a gem. Definitely will come back again if I visit this city in the future.

1. Strategic location. Just the opposite to Thamrin City. And walking distance to Grand Indonesia & Plaza Indonesia.
2. Spacious room.
