Pros:

I recently visited ooty with my spouse and my 2yrs old daughter. After a long research i selected this hotel - WELBECK VINTAGE OXYGEN HOTEL. I was impressed by the efficient check-in/check-out process of the hotel. Their customer service is also commendable. I have stayed at a dozen hotels in Ooty. This was on the top of the list of best experiences ever. Manager Shiny - She took care of us nicely . Thank you so much. Only thing which bothered me was the price. Its bit high.

Very near to the city centre, good location, clean & spacious rooms, great views!

Cons:

Rooms were cold. Wooden tiles/Carpet could have been a better choice for the floor instead of other tiles.

Bed was comfortable, clean bathroom

Cons:

Buffet breakfast was really a big disappointment, very limited option , upma was really bad, aalu paratha first plate was good there after chef forgot to put salt!
In fruits only cut papaya! No other option! They have bread but no omelet!
In menu the rate of food is less but when the actual bill comes the price is double!
Bathroom had no bathing soap , no hair dryer , no tooth brush, no hand towel! Only big bathing towel!
Overall not the worth of price

Overall very good.
Staff were very helpful and friendly. Dinner was good.

There was a bit of noise from neighbouring rooms and some stuffiness in the bathroom because it had no windows or ventilation, but would stay again.

Pros:

Good experience we had .. wonderful sceneries fron the room and while walking to the room.. I came to know they have started one year before this resort.. really good one to stay with our family.. Room was quite big and has a balcony super winter the temperature was 16 at 7pm .. they have the sofa cum bed so it was very comfortable

Cons:

They don't have Room heater.. they gave a portable heater . But in this winter it was not at all suitable..that's the drawback.. sometimes water was not came properly either flush can't work not the washbasin water won't come. Food is average..

Pros:

I visited this place with high expectations, and it truly lived up to them.

The check-in time was scheduled for 2 PM, but I arrived at 12:30 PM. The reception team welcomed me warmly with a smile and asked me to wait for just 10 minutes. They quickly arranged a room with a great view and even helped carry my luggage, which made me feel very happy. Their respect and hospitality were commendable; they always greeted us with cheerful smiles whenever we passed by.

The room itself was spacious and impeccably clean. It was well-equipped with a kettle, a heater, and refillable water bottles. The property also had a restaurant where the food, although slightly pricey, was tasty and satisfying. They offered room service for food, which they promptly delivered upon request. I had instructed them not to perform any room service during my stay, and they respected my request perfectly.

Overall, this is an excellent hotel with stunning views, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
