Golden Stay Boutique Hotel Taksim

First the address in google maps it is WRONG, you have to contact the property to give you the actual address through what’s up , the location on google maps will lead you to empty buildings be careful.the area around this property is the slums you will be hurt or robbed if you do not speak the language. The water will be shut down at least 3 to 4 hours daily, so good luck to use the bathroom or take showers. The windows of the property will be remain open because the tight buildings to each other makes the fly simply flying around. Do not expect fancy breakfast, It will be delivered to your room though. The reception person nice person they work him till he falls a part. The property close to many major roads and attractions however it is not for family or nice people lol. Be aware of the drunks around you, be aware of people size you always to see if you worth to be scammed or even jumped. Stay away from dark areas always because people sitting there drinking and have nothing to lose. Dogs and cat poop everywhere.

The hotel is clean and the room was fine. Beds are comfortable and there is ample storage space plus a small kitchen area.
The problem was the late arrival. The hotel states 24 hour check in. Our flight arrived at 01:15 so we did not reach the hotel until 03:00. There are no visible signs that it is a hotel and nobody answered the door. I was with 2 children roaming the streets at 03:30 with suitcases. I emailed in advance to see if they could accommodate a check in at this time and received no answer. Once you get in, the hotel is fine.

We had a horrible experience with Golden Stay Boutique Hotel Taksim - arriving late and no one there to let us in in the night despite they announced 24/7 reception! We have tried everything to reach someone (knocking, writing, phone) but it was just useless. I asked the hotel upfront our arrival if there is anything to observe when arriving late but I got no answer. We had to look for another hotel in the night with two kids and baggage with us with the result that we could stay the remaining night in the lobby in the hotel where we then booked additionally. Golden Stay Boutique Hotel Taksim answered us almost one week after we were already home again that they welcome us in the hotel - what a joke or even sarcasm!!! We are now still waiting to get our money back from Expedia and it is more than sad that there is no reaction from neither Golden Stay Boutique Hotel nor from Expedia itself in this case. Never book such an unreliable and nonprofessionel hotel!

Overall it was a comfortable stay at Golden Stay Boutique. The hotel management were very kind and supportive. However, there's always room for improvement and things can be done even better, like some variation in Breakfast. Variation can be provided in eggs like cheese omelette, scrambled eggs, vegetable omelette etc but not boiled eggs only. Nevertheless, I will definitely recommend others for this apartment hotel.

Since it is a new hotel, everything is clean and tidy. They serve breakfast to the room at the time we want. They immediately gave us the items we wanted for the kitchen. Thank you for helping us with many issues during our stay at the hotel.
