Not as adverstised and disappointing.
Pros:

The house is clean.
The location is good, very near bus stops, frequent busses to the city or airport.

Cons:

One bathroom five rooms in the house.
The advert stated a kitchenete, and the pictures showed a cooker - no cooking rule. Microwave use only - this was defective (turn-table broken)
Threats of a 'fine' if you cook anyting!
Washing maching not working (It works, they just dont want you to use it).
Facilites not as described.
Cold house - bedroom was cold well into the evening even with limited heating on.
"Host support" £50 call out fee.
Early (9am) checkout.
I stayed a week, if i had known in advance i would have looked elsewhere, i was left with the feeling they did not want you to use gas (cooking) or electricty (washing machine)!
Unfriendly notes everywhere, laminated and stuck with sellotape.

Pros:

The whole experience from meeting tomasz to using the facilities was a treat, meeting new guests and old guests was a lovely communal experience and the upkeep of all the rooms was astounding, overall this is the best guesthouse house me and my partner have ever had the pleasure to stay at, at any price let alone the highly affordable rates that the Abbeyfield offers the quality was above and beyond expectations, would recommend to anyone

If you like a warm, comfortable, welcoming place to stay. This is not for you.

Too far from the Centre.
Freezing cold on arrival. Took a long time to warm up.
Too many people sharing the bathroom.
Communication with the host was scant. Could have been more informative and helpful.

Basic rooms, but ideal for a short stay. Very clean and obviously well run. One bathroom between five rooms was the only negative, but it was spotless. The kitchen is well equipped and just what you need.

Freezing room, no sleep, terrible value-never again.
Pros:

Nothing. There was genuinely nothing about this stay that was comfortable, enjoyable, or worth recommending.

Cons:

Terrible experience. Avoid this place. The property is in a run-down and unpleasant area, and nothing about the stay made up for it. The room was absolutely freezing, with heating only turned on at specific times chosen by the landlord. Completely unacceptable, especially at night.

I checked in late at 11:00 PM and was still forced to check out by 9:00 AM. That’s barely any time to sleep, let alone rest properly. The bathroom was shared and also freezing, with no heating whatsoever.

This place is poorly managed, uncomfortable, and honestly not worth the money. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. You’re better off sleeping in your car.

Pros:

No lounge as advertised.
Other people are staying at the house.
Advertising that there is a lounge and a kitchen but not allowed to use, I booked it on the understanding it was a two-bed house for me and my friend but it's a HMO.
