Pros:

Beds good - electric blankets. Good sized room. Friendly staff.

Cons:

Tiny bathroom and shower room. Toilet unstable. Room tea facilities inadequate. Breakfast poor - cheapest ingredients, poor choice of products, eggs inedible. Overpriced for quality of product.

Quite a surprise to find the hotel seemingly tucked next to the highway. Quiet enough.
Pros:

Quite adequate as we were going out to lunch very nice to look out to the garden.

Comfortable
Pros:

The staff were super helpful and friendly and the room was beautiful. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. This is such a quaint little hotel, with so much history, so beautifully presented.

Not really a “boutique” hotel more a guest house, ok but a bit pricey for the standard
Pros:

Didn’t have breakfast, had to leave early. Very pretty inside, room was a good size, the bed was comfy, tiny weird bathroom & sink inside the room, nice & clean.

Cons:

Address very hard to find, sort of off the highway, but the blue mts clouds added to the confusion, took about 20 minutes driving backwards & forwards til i found the spot. Signage outside gives a slightly different name, again confusing. Doesn’t appear to have any parking except on the road outside. Local taxi drivers also confused, had to chase one down the road adjacent, & direct another.
No one at front desk, had to call a phone number to find check in. Smelled really bad, like boarding school dinners, off putting. Kettle & mugs in the room but no tea or coffee supplies.
The front room quite noisy with road traffic, also other guests entering with keys to front door late at night

Pros:

Virginia is an awesome and friendly host — very welcoming and accommodating. The place itself has a charming historical and retro vibe. I love that it also has a billiard table, drum set, piano, and a cozy library area. Such a unique and relaxing place to stay!

Pros:

Welcoming and super friendly atmosphere, excellent and flexible service and a lovely room!

Well located and friendly hosts
Pros:

The hotel is extremely well located within walking distance to town. It's perfect for quick and easy (driving) access to Blackheath lookout for sunset and the Grand Canyon walking trail.

Virginia the host was a delight, the beds were comfy and sheets crisp

Cons:

The hotel was in need of basic maintenance in several areas eg: our toilet roll holder was broken and everywhere needed a thorough clean as there was thick dust everywhere on the bedside cabinet and tv and toothpaste stains geom previous guests on the sink
