A spacious and comfy cottage in a beautiful location made us want to stay much longer.
Pros:

The location was beautiful and the cottage was clean and comfortable.

Cons:

We were surprised there was only a one burner hot plate, although the bonus is that it was induction.

A clean, beautiful and modern riverside cabin surrounded by trees and songbirds.
Pros:

Everything was clean, crisp white sheets and towels. Well stocked kitchenette, including multifunctional air fryer, cooktop stove, toaster , pots, pans, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, cooking tools, salt, pepper, olive oil, large fridge, ice in the freezer. Loved using the shared BBQ and fire pit. Loved the dock with chairs and loungers. Loved the cozy solar lights that ignite when the sun goes down. Loved being surrounded by trees, shrubbery and songbirds, loved the river view from the living room windows. Landscaping around the property was fantastic, super green grass. Enjoyed the keyless entry. Matt and Alyssa always responded promptly to any questions, requests. Thank you for accommodating slightly earlier check in. Enjoyed our stay, thank you.

Cons:

There was a spot for paper towels under the sink, but it was not stocked. There was an empty container in the freezer that said “help yourself to a treat”, but nothing in it. There was a container for coffee in the kitchenette, but barely any left, could have been restocked. Just a few small things that needed restocking, otherwise great!

Pros:

Lovely dock on the river with lots of seating. Next door to a pleasant cafe and walking distance to the town amenities, including the river and pedestrian bridge.

Cons:

Only real window in the unit was facing the busy road, so it felt boxed in.

Overall a pleasant stay. Our group pleased with accommodations, with exception above.
Pros:

Town and surroundings wonderful. Good restaurants nearby. Location good for our recreational purposes. Our group found the gathering place above the river to be shaded and pleasant. The upgraded rooms seemed to be well appointed, though ours was smaller than expected. See below for details.

Cons:

Early morning street noise from trucks, etc. Noise from worker on walkway outside the door. Room (#3) very small for two people. No chairs or table for eating. No ice in fridge, nor on site.

L'emplacement et le ponton au-dessus de la rivière est génial (mais ce serait bien d'y ajouter un peu plus de sièges et tables.
La petite terrasse du logement avec vue sur la rivière,tres agréable

Cons:

L'hébergement en lui-même est tout à fait correct mais un peu juste pour 4. On ressent bien qu'il est plutôt prévu pour 2. Pour une nuit, c'était suffisant mais sans doute plus compliqué pour y passer une semaine par exemple.

Generally met my expectations with the exception to TV viewing opportunities.
Pros:

The bed was very comfortable. I was also allowed to checkin early since the room was cleaned and ready to be occupied. To have access to the dock with chairs was a nice feature. Room was very clean and well appointed.

Cons:

The TV set-up and having to know your own home service logins was not welcomed. There was no access to basic CBC, CTV or Global TV networks. There also needs to be some way to darken the room for sleeping. TRhe late evening and morning light just streamed in especially at the door.

It’s OK for 2 nights stay.
Pros:

the cowichan lake at the backyard.
communication with the owner was good.
easy check in and out process.
kitchen is complete except for dining table.

Cons:

there’s no space to eat inside the unit, the bedroom is too small, there’s no space to walk on and no space to place the luggages.
if you’re 4 people there’s no enough wall hooks for wet towels.
The check in is too late (4 pm) and the check out is too early (10 am).

Very nice good value accommodation.
Pros:

Lovely outlook over the river and lake with a walkway down to a floating deck. The room was clean and comfortable and the view could be appreciated through the large windows.

Cons:

Minor point was that there is no off street parking but this did not cause any real problem.

Beautiful location, although different from the appearance on Booking.com. Very clean.

Cons:

Having bunk beds in the bedroom as well as the queen was a surprise. Bathroom has almost no counter space.
