Pros:

Un lieu d'un autre temps, où l'on a l'impression de revenir dans le passé et qui est juste splendide. Tout y est très propre et l'accueil chaleureux.

Wat een prachtige huis op een prachtige plek! En wat een lieve beheerster. Het is een huis volledig in oude victoriaanse stijl, bijna een museum, midden in een prachtige tuin met papagaaien en toekans. Het huis vol prachtige details wordt duidelijk met liefde onderhouden.De beheerster is zorgzaam en communicatief, spreekt engels

Cons:

Sierpe is een warme plek en in het huis is geen airconditioning, wel ventilatoren, in de slaapkamer kan het in het begin van de nacht dus nog flink warm zijn. Maar de super mooie plek maakt veel goed!

Très joli endroit au calme
Pros:

L'endroit est très joli, magnifique jardin au bord de la rivière, le seul endroit où l'on a vu des toucans
L'accueil de notre hôte était parfait, les petits déjeuners excellents ( les meilleurs de tous les hôtels que nous avons fait)
Le réveil du matin par les oiseaux ( très tôt mais agréable :) )
Emplacement à 5 minutes en voiture de la mangrove et des bateaux .

La dueña fue muy amable y nos trató genial. Es un lugar encantador, dentro de la naturaleza y con muchos animales alrededor. Se puede acceder por el río a sierpe. La casa es muy bonita.

C'est sympa de voir les oiseaux et autres le matin en se réveillant

Cons:

Le logement est très rudimentaire et pas bien équipé (on ne peut pas cuisiner par exemple)
Les.matelas sont très vieux et pas du tout agréables
La propriété semble laissé à l'abandon
J'ai trouvé ca très cher pour une cabane. Nous avons fait plusieurs autres hébergements beaucoup mieux pour moins cher.

Great option to stay in Sierpe
Pros:

The accommodation is designed like a traditional banana plantation house, and provided us with a good option to stay close to the boats leaving from Sierpe. Iliana is a welcoming host who prepared a delicious breakfast for us on the veranda. We stayed in a room of the main house, which made us feel part of the family. The Scarlet Macaws nesting in a nearby tree provided for a great spectacle.

BEAUTIFUL home, amazing design of the house. Super friendly host that organized a taxi for us and was very accommodating. Great breakfast (and a lot of food!). Macaws in the backyard.

Is a bit out of town, but appreciated the scenery and quiet.

It was very special watching toucans outside the bedroom in the morning.

Cons:

The facilities (bed, fan) are dated.
Veragua is located a little outside of Sierpe, it works better if you have a car.

Charming river house. We felt like we were staying with a family. Very safe, quiet and just perfect.
Pros:

The house has character and location on the river is gorgeous. The owners are very kind and the food was wonderful. Great wildlife in the yard. I felt like we were going back in time!

Pros:

Love this place. Laid back, lush, magical setting and a rustic, simple elegance along the river that was like being in a Latin American novel. Parrots and other birds and a crocodile floating past. Sitting out on simple chairs at sunset was beautiful. Hosts were muy amable and breakfast was excellent. May have eaten the best over easy egg ever made. Perhaps not to everyone's taste, but really liked the town and restaurant in Sierpe, too. Feel like many will pass thru quickly to get to Corcovado, but it's a shame we didn't have more than two nights.

Cons:

Don't want to complain at all! But if I am pushed to make a suggestion? Keeping in mind I loved this stay and it was fine, but the mattress could be upgraded a bit.
