The place is good, the food is delicious, some staff are really great, but don’t book a boat with them!
Pros:

The room was good, the food was delicious and the staff were very nice and helpful, specially Alvaro, he did everything he could for us.

Cons:

We booked a boat to come back from Monte Trigo to Tarrafal with them and it didn’t go well. First the price was fixed, 5000 escudos per boat. Then we talked with another couple to share the costs with them and suddenly the price changed and it was 3000 per couple, so total of 6000. Because we had no better alternative we accepted it. Obviously the skipper was a relative of the staff (the brother of the owner, I think) and he was quite rude since the beginning. He was there at the arranged time and when we jumped on board, he said we could leave the bags in a compartment of the boat. We did put the bags, but I was afraid that the compartment had water in the bottom so I decided to double check with him and he was very arrogant saying that there was no water. When we arrived on land, my bag was submerged in water and all my electronics were destroyed. He just simply apologised and I left there with a big prejudice (more than 100€).

Pros:

Příjemný, ochotný a profesionální hostitel, který dobře mluví anglicky. Snídaně byla chutná a z restaurace na střeše je pěkný výhled na moře. Pokoj byl uklizený.

Cons:

Ráno trochu rušil hluk z ulice, postele byly délkou trochu kratší (pro mě stačilo akorát, ale pro vyšší lidi by mohly být krátké).
