Would stay again
Pros:

The location is excellent to visit the sites in Kilkenny. Able to arrive prior to checking into the room so as not to have to park somewhere else for the afternoon. The parking lot is located off a road behind the hotel, and it seems to have enough parking spaces (some spaces under a roof).
Breakfast had a great selection of hot ordered food along with a small room with continental items as well.
Bar food was good.
We stayed in the original building. We were told by another guest that was in the new building (closer to parking) that they had AC. Noticed that there were 2 doors that seemed to be ground level, maybe for handicap. However, this is not a building to enter if one has problems with steps.

Cons:

Smoke area as you enter from the parking area.

Pros:

Posizione perfetta per visitare citta' e castello. La nostra camera era in una zona rimodernata dell' hotel, pulita e ci siamo trovati benissimo. Molto buona la colazione, con possibilita' di scegliere piatti a' la carte, oltre al buffet, senza costi aggiuntivi. Personale molto gentile. Abbiamo anche cenato in hotel, ci e' piaciuto molto lo stile come l' arredamento oltre che i piatti molto gustosi.

Super nice place, convenient to all amenities. Will be back.
Pros:

Location. Interior was beautiful and in tune with the age of the building.
Staff were so nice and helpful both at reception and in the dining room

Cons:

I didn’t ask if there was an assessable suite. Lots of stairs but lots of help offered.
Lack of elevator matches the age of the building.

Hotel in great location
Pros:

Left before breakfast. Room was very comfortable

Cons:

No lift or offer of help with suitcases to first floor. We were two 70 plus friends and found it very difficult getting our cases up the stairs.

Für Staderkundungen ein schönes irisches Hotel mit viel Flair

Ein Hotel mit Atmosphäre, spiegelt irische Atmosphäre der alten Zeit auf eine schöne Weise. Wunderbar um die Stadt zufuss zu erkunden, Parkplätze beim Haus. Samstags viele Partygruppen unterwegs. Das war nett anzusehen. Trotzdem war es ruhig im Hotel und leider war in der Hoteleigenen Bar nicht viel los. Ein Frühstücksbuffet rundet das Frühstücksmenü das man dazubekommt ab - Sehr gutes Frühstück.

Lovely in every way
Pros:

This beautiful old building is a joy unto itself, but add to that the charming staff, beautiful room, and lovely restaurant on premises and you've got the total package. Plus, PARKING, right in the midst of the Medieval Mile!

Cons:

The restaurant made some mistakes on our order, but they did go to great lengths to make it up to us. Honestly, there's nothing not to like.
