Make sure you get one of the more modern and refurbished rooms.

Location great and plenty of car parking space.

Cons:

We were in one of the old rooms, which although perfectly clean was very dated, and was really expensive for what it was. Although shown on the website the reality was very different. Hardly any plugs in the room, and bathroom was very tired. Lock on the door was poor and noise from the corridor. The common areas were very old and in need of updating. But the place had a historic feel to it which was nice. Ok for one night.

Pros:

Leuke kamer, authentiek met leuke elementen.
Makkelijk te vinden en goed geregeld qua parkeren. Ligt in het centrum, dus in de avond nog genoeg mogelijkheden om ergens te drinken of eten.
Bed was prima.

Cons:

Wat mij opviel is dat de foto's van booking niet overeen kwam met mijn beleving. We hadden de kamer met de lelijkste/oudste badkamer en die ook niet helemaal schoon was. Andere foto's zagen er beter en verzorgder uit. Er is zo te zien ern pud gedeelte en een nieuw gedeelte.
Vloeren kraken, je hoort alles wat er op de gang gebeurd maar heb daar niet veel last van gehad, het was gedurende de nacht rustig.

A beautiful hotel with everything you need located minutes from all the best things in Kilkenny.
Pros:

Secure on-site parking. location right in the middle of town, beautiful hotel, friendly staff, and an adorable pub at the hotel.

Cons:

No lifts to the rooms, so we had to carry up our luggage.
