Nice but not all it’s cracked up to be.
Pros:

The view was beautiful, the staff were lovely. The breakfast buffet was nice. This was a bucket list stay and I can say I was a little disappointed.

Cons:

The area surrounding the hotel was out of use for restaurants etc due to pier renovations. We had to use the buffet for dinner and this was similar quality to an RSL club lunch buffet. Very limited choices and certainly not what I would refer to as a carvery meal. The hotel is very outdated and furnishings are old and tattered. It was disappointing.

Pros:

The pool area stunning.
Paris on Guest Check in was an absolute gem she took the initiative to help me with room setup for balloons and presents for my partner - look after her she’s an asset to your team
The doormen were amazing as well

Cons:

The morning breakfast staff were miserable, forgot coffee order, no smoked salmon. Both days was the same.
Night in-house room service menu was disappointing so we didn’t order from it - not much range.

It's nice but won't rush back
Pros:

Nice comfy bed, the building and pool is very lovely. The staff were also extremely lovely.
Function food was lovely.

Cons:

-Lighting in the bathroom section is very poor in the room I had
-the light sensor within the wardrobe wouldn't go off
-for an expensive hotel 5 star, everything stops at 11pm. You can't get room service, you can't get a drink in the bar. I thought expensive 5 star hotels try to wait on guests and are always available.
- we had an all day function in the ballroom, but for 12 tables of guests, they gave us 4 jugs of water at the back of the room. Not even a jug per table or on each table.
-The hotel is very lovely structurally but the rooms need a refresher

The staff Not very understanding. We had an emergency needed to check out early. However the day spa still debited my account for half of the price. Terrible so disappointed.

Unfortunately our poor dining experience ruined what was supposed to be a dream stay.

Beautiful location and decor.

Cons:

Restaurant staff were poor. Food was terrible. Had to send the steak back. I got my steak then sent it back got a new steak and after all that my wife finally got her salad 15 minutes later. So ate separately. When I told reception I was disappointed she couldn’t care less. So won’t be coming back.

Pros:

All of it, the hotel is so beautiful and Staff upgraded us upon arrival due to being at the coast for my sons 21st birthday celebrations and left him a card and gifted chocolates in the room as a beautiful surprise. We didn't want to leave, it was so beautiful.

Staying such a short time.

Wonderful stay at a fantastic price

Room was exceptional, service was 5 star and the rate we got for the night was unbeatable. If we could get a similar rate in the future we would definitely be returning

Pros:

Arriving at the Imperial. we were met by a valet that took our luggage to our room. The parking was easy, booking in with the front desk was effortless and the room was clean, welcoming, comfortable and spectacular. It is lovely staying here, the beds are comfortable, the breakfast covered everything you would want to eat. The location was convenient too if you have a car to get around.

Cons:

We noticed that the motel was looking a little run down in spots like needing a little bit of painting and marks on walls, but this was minor. It was still a great place to stay.
