Mediocre and underwhelming
Pros:

I liked the pool and the bathroom.

Cons:

The staff were extremely slow not very helpful didn’t clean every day bedding wasn’t changed once over my four nights stay the pillows were way too soft. They charge extra for breakfast and extra for a “better view”. The hotel is very dated and I think it’s not kept up to its last standard

The staff were superb and I felt a treasured guest as 80yr old Marathon runner.
Pros:

Lovely. The staff were superb. The food was very good. The bedroom was stuffy and smelled of cigarettes on arrival 🥺 The air conditioner was too loud. The pillows were not comfortable.
The view was lovely and fortunately we could open windows for airing 👍 The parquetry floor was chipped and dirty and there was insufficient carpet around the bed for floor exercise.

Great place to stay for GC Marathon
Pros:

Location was great for the Gold Coast marathon and was very easy to get to. Staff were amazing and lovely. Honestly would stay there again.

Cons:

Hot water was a bit iffy. Not sure if that was due to extra people visiting due to the marathon, but the shower would go cold on occasion.

Also please note, the superior double does have double beds not queen. While this was fine for me, it may be too small for some.
