Beautiful 5 star hotel . Staff are very friendly and helpful. We definitely plan on coming back.
Pros:

Beautiful room looking over the pool. Stylishly decorated. Lovely bathroom with large spa bath. Definitely 5 star hotel.

I’ll never stay there again.
Pros:

The lagoon view from the room

Cons:

The property is tired. The rooms are outdated. The room was serviced, bed made but everything else was left. Cups unwashed, no replacements for tea bags new towels just left in the floor.

The Goldies traffic issue, location will save$$
Pros:

In its hayday back in 2004 this property would have been ybe bee knees. To dsy, that quallity still holds up, just a quallity tired property.

Cons:

Nothing, just its location, in 3 days, spent $500 on Ubers.

Luxury stay on the Gold Coast with reasonably easy access to everything.
Pros:

Breakfast amazing! Loved the pool area as well. Nice big room in two sections. Bathroom luxurious. Staff excellent.

Cons:

I think a view of the road wasn't ideal when we found out there were rooms empty with better views of the pool area.

The Imperial Hotel made our 5 year anniversary celebration utterly unforgettable.
Pros:

This was our second time staying at the Imperial and it was even better than the first. The hotel is very elegant, with beautiful and comfortable rooms as well as an enormous lagoon pool. However the best part of our stay was the staff, especially Andrew who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Cons:

The one thing that could be improved upon is the aircon. In some areas of the hotel the aircon is absolutely freezing. On the other hand that would make spending Summer here very enticing!

Will NOT be back

We actually did not like the stay. The exhaust fan in the shower did not work. The lighting above the mirror dod not work. There is mould in the bathroom. The beds were so uncomfortable we did not sleep well and woke with sore backs. And the room had a wet smell to it. Room service dinner was cold and so was the buffet breakfast. We will NOT be returning.
