Pros:

everything was amazing -my teenage daughter loved the spa bath in the room. The beds were super comfortable and the bottled water a lovely surprise.

Luxury stay I'll be back
Pros:

Loved the fine details of the hotel, was greeted with a birthday cake piece and card from the manage which was lovely and upgraded to a lagoon view room with spa bath. All but one staff were very friendly welcoming and polite.

Cons:

My dinner plate was left on the floor outside the room door all weekend and a hospitality staff member was rude mannered to me when I was waiting to be seated for breakfast.

Overall I'd rate it 7/10. It was good, but a few small improvements would make it great.
Pros:

A quaint little getaway booked at the last minute so I wasn't expecting it to be perfect. Whilst the reception didn't answer the phone when I originally phoned to enquire about availability but the booking.com website was fairly intuitive and check-in was smooth which I liked. The staff were polite and friendly and the room was clean. The lobby was well decorated and featured a live pianist.

Cons:

The front door staff uniform (black polo/black pants) didn't seem to match the rest of the luxury aesthetic of a fine hotel however they were polite and friendly. The mini bar was empty on arrival save for a small milk which was a little disappointing. The ambient lighting above the spa bath could be improved, the left sconce was flickering intensely whilst the right sconce simply wasn't working and although the ceiling light was working it was not quite as romantic and atmospheric.

Excellent stay with welcoming staff
Pros:

Great location close to everything that we needed. The staff and particularly front desk staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a special stay (for our anniversary).

Cons:

A refurbishment is on the agenda is what I heard and while I consider the property to be opulent and well maintained, it could use some minor updates.
