Ein ZImmer mit Aussicht!
Pros:

Das Deluxeimmer Nr. 301 mit Balkon ist das Geld wert, fantastische Sicht auf die Bay und seitlich auf das Gate of India, sehr geschmackvolle Ausstattung, klein aber fein, recht ordentliches Dachrestaurant, gut für abends, wenn man nicht noch lange in die Innenstadt laufen möchte, sehr zentral, wunderbares sehr freundliches Personal, va. Sahil und Justin. Als Taxifahrer vor dem Hotel wärmstens Jarved (für Koli-slum/Dhobis/Malabar, und va Dharavi) zu empfehlen und als intelelktuellen Taxifahrer Rahul. Insgesamt ist das Harbour View u.E. in der Superlage das absolut beste StadtHotel für Mumbai, was man sich vorstellen kann. und auch leisten kann. Wir kommen wieder.

Cons:

von außen etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber von innen fein!
Fürhstück etwas lieblos, aber natürlich typisch indisch-, gibt aber Toast und Eier.
Zur unten stehenden Strand Frage: die gesamte arabische See in Mumbai ist stärkstens verdreckt. Man kann dort nciht ins Wasser gehen! Tagsüber ist Chowpatti Beach im März total heiß, so dass man sich da nicht aufhalten kann.

Need to improve restaurant hygiene

Restaurant hygiene was bad even breakfast was included but didn’t eat coz when I was reached I had one cold coffee but they use reusable straw. I mean how come anyone use reusable straw and that too was dirty and coffee is over priced rs 325 .and tasted awful.

I got the view from the window that I paid for.
Cons:

Reception staff was rude and condescending. Their Imperious attitude was completely counter-productive with this foreign visitor, although members of the National community may be more willing to accept the verdicts they hand out. When I arrived for check-in, I was told three times that I did not have a booking. I showed them my CONFIRMED booking, and after five minutes they produced a printout indicating my reservation was "Modified" but seemingly not confirmed by the hotel. I do not recall "modifying" my booking, which clearly was CONFIRMED. Despite this trifle, they deigned to allow me to check in. They refused to honor my request for a 1 PM checkout, one hour after their normal 12 noon checkout - as my international flight did not depart until 8 PM. I did not really feel welcome at this hotel.

Wouldn’t choose again, albeit great location
Pros:

Location perfect. Hotel is actually 3rd and 4th floor within another hotel. Comfy bed. Their airport driver was a great guy

Cons:

Avoid room 311. Banging from rooftop kitchen above at 01:45am and again at 6:30am.
Breakfast advertised on booking 7-10:30, reception said breakfast available from 7:30 (we were leaving for airport at 8am) went upstairs 7:30am to be told breakfast not available till 8am, asked for a coffee, told to come back in 10mins, then was offered a sachet of Nescafe and some hot water. Guys this is 2026, at least offer filter coffee if you cant do a proper espresso especially when you charge £100 a night in Mumbai for a room which looks at a brick wall and has a tired mouldy bathroom and noisy ceiling fan. In past experience hotels are very hit and miss in Mumbai, this one was a miss. Wouldn’t stay again

Pros:

Our rooms were ready within 20 minutes of our arrival, which was 10am. Lovely comfortable bed and powerful shower. Excellent location with stunning views and the rooftop cafe served wonderful food.
Staff were really friendly.

A great location to stay for sightseeing for short periods
Pros:

Excellent location with rooftop bar overlooking the harbour- very close to gateway to India

Cons:

It was Eid while we were staying and so many people came to the rooftop bar late at night- our room was underneath and the constant scraping of chairs was extremely noisy in our room- breakfast was also very limited

Absolute unbeatable location for the budget
Pros:

The location is 10/10 right on the Colaba waterfront in the best area of Mumbai, walkable and interesting.
Small upstairs property with modernised rooms, get a front ine if you csn (well worth it fir the sea view).
The rooftop restaurant where breakfast is served overlooking the whole harbour is to die for, and food is ok.

Cons:

Lift wasn’t working properly and our rear room was a bit small and internalised (all that was available).

Hôtel très bien à Bombay
Pros:

L'hôtel est au 3ème étage avec un rooftop très sympa avec restaurant. Ascenseur, climatisation, ventilateur, eau chaude avec pression, douche fermée. Il est situé face au port et très près de la porte de l'inde et du majestueux hôtel Taj Mahal. La chambre et la salle de bain sont spacieuses. La literie est confortable.
