Bijou hotel, excellent staff and overall offer certainly make up for minor irritations
Pros:

Staff helpfulness and friendliness exceptional, cleanliness of room and bathroom excellent, pleasant decor, location excellent - and close to park and railway station, shops and restaurants close by.

Cons:

Machine coffee not great, lack of kettle in room really lacked that morning cuppa we English need!
A mini fridge would be useful. In a double room not really sufficient hanging space/ cupboard space for two. Bedlinen should be changed after days automatically. Pool bookings really need a whole hour? Maybe offer a paper map Paris on arrival?

Great hotel and staff in a fantastic location.
Pros:

The Hotel was very clean, free coffee, tea all day which was nice. Will definitely return. And the swimming pool was amazing, as you book it for your room and its your for an hour, what a treat.

Cons:

There was no mirror in the bedroom, just in the bathroom.

Leuk, gezellig hotel met vriendelijk personeel!
Pros:

Goede ligging, vriendelijk personeel, bagage kan veilig worden achtergelaten, net beddengoed en nette kamers.

Cons:

Bij onze aankomst maakte we gebruik van het ‘openbaar’ toilet van het hotel. Dit was niet erg proper. We hebben hier melding van gemaakt en de deskmedewerker deed meteen het nodige om dit in orde te stellen. Jammer dat gasten het toilet in dergelijke staat achterlaten.

Er is niet echt iets van een bar of dergelijke. Je kan wel altijd koffie/water/thee krijgen.

Pros:

New hotel, fresh rooms, acceptable breakfast still not diverse for its price.

Cons:

Very tiny rooms. The girl at the reception recommended us super awful Italian restaurant where we returned the dishes back even that never happen before, I wish they improved their recommendation list of places.

Elegant hotel but the rooms are minuscule
Pros:

Beautiful building with character, elegant decoration inside.

Cons:

The room was minuscule. A bed, one chair and a tiny table were filling in the room entirely. The shower was very little as well. Walls were thin, I could hear the neighbors talking.

I felt like I just stepped into a hallmark movie scene. From the moment we walked in the door, Pauline greeted us with warmth and kindness. This hotel is absolutely darling! The free hot coco and chocolate croissants were my favorite. Everything from the friendliness of the staff to the charming rooms, and outdoor garden, the dainty lobby with excellent breakfast, it was all very perfect and exactly what we were looking for. We only had 3 nights there them 3 nights in Rome. Our hotel in Rome was bigger and fancier and more expensive but it lacked the warmth and at home feeling. We jist felt like another tourist there where st the Madeline we felt like family. I would highly highly recommend this charming hotel to couples or small family!

Spotless hotel excellent great staff in a great Paris location
Pros:

Staff were exceptional - very friendly and also very accommodating.
Perfect location - in a great area, about a 10 min walk to Notre Dame and 2/3 min to Jardin de Luxembourg.
Just off a Main Street so no issues with noise at night.

Cons:

Rooms are small (but as described) so book a larger one if required.
