Pros:

This is the place
Pros:

There are a few features that make this resort stand out. Calistoga Spa Hot Springs has the best water temperature variety in Calistoga. Many hot springs resorts have one or two pools, but CSHS has 4, including a children's splash pool (great for adults, too), a lap pool, a soaking pool, and a large hot tub. Temps range from about 84-104. The pool area is large and lovely, and perfect for an entire day's relaxation. Plenty of lounge chairs, a fire pit, snack bar, and tables for your wine, cheese, and bread picnic surround the four pools. Just outside the pool area are additional seating areas and barbecues. It's perfect for a longer-term stay; the spacious rooms all have kitchenettes with a sink, mini-fridge, two-burner cooktop, and microwave. In the evenings, guests sit outside their rooms, grill dinner, and enjoy the striking views of Mount Saint Helena with its rocky crags and oaks. This is not the most luxurious or glamorous stay in Calistoga, but it is the best bang for your buck, location, and experience overall.

Cons:

Not on this visit, which was midweek, but sometimes on weekends/school vacations, the pool area loses it's quiet, relaxing vibe due to kids.

Good stay but rules not enforced.
Pros:

Thermal pools are just outside your door.

Cons:

Guests did not follow rules and brought diapered babies to the whirlpool and a larger pool. Many ate and drank while standing or floating in the thermal pool.

Pros:

Everyone working here is super friendly. The gardening and landscaping is very nice and smells very good, I'm not sure what plants cause this. Very aromatic and organic scented. The pool area is very clean and laid out well.

Cons:

No complaints, perfect for a romantic getaway!! Checking in and out is fast and efficient.
