Great location and perfect stay !
Pros:

Great location! The property is very nice, direct access to the beach. Everything was perfect and clean. I liked the room and the balcony with the sea view. Beds were super comfy. Would I stay again? yes because of the location. It’s a really nice place. If you are looking for daytrips hotel next door has travel agency. Some of the Staff was helpful like the security and Ronisha from reception. Public transportation available outside the hotel mini busses that run downtown.

Cons:

Some of the staff could be more helpful and nicer like bar and breakfast service. Otherwise everything perfect

Nice, if it hadn’t been for the above incident, would have stayed there again.

Cons:

My husband had charged a drink to the room thinking I had left our credit card for incidentals. We received a call at 915pm when we were in bed, saying we had to come pay it immediately, I asked how much it was , and was told $10US(which was expensive for a rum punch in a fruit glass). I asked it we could just come pay it in the a.m. I was told no, someone could come to the room to collect it. I told them, no, I would come down and pay it, since I would have to get dressed anyhow. I just thought they could have had better customer service. We have to stay overnight again at Young Island in April, if it hadn’t been for this, we would have stayed overnight there, but will stay somewhere else now.

Cons:

On a payé pour une chambre avec 2 lits double avec patio et balcon. Nous avons eu une chambre avec 1 lit double et le balcon.
Donc première déception. Ensuite il fallait réclamer des produits pour se laver , cela n’était pas fait automatiquement. Concernant les matelas de piscine, il n’y en avait pas assez et ils étaient sales ! Le personnel dans l’ensemble n’est pas très aimable : quand au service, c’est la catastrophe ! Vous attendez constamment suffisamment longtemps pour que cela devienne exaspérant…et on vous dit d’attendre c’est comme ça . Un exemple tout bête : on avait commandé des glaces, elles sont arrivées fondues, c’était devenu un milkshake ! Aucune attention est faite au client c’est au client de s’adapter ! Exemple : on était allongé sur des transats à côté du bar de la piscine: le jardinier est venu à côté de nous et a fait fonctionner sa débroussailleuse ! Comme on a montré notre mécontentement , il nous a répondu qu’on avait qu’à aller ailleurs !

Sunset Shores was a good choice for our first stay in Saint Vincent but the cruise ship passengers on the beach is a goo
Pros:

The beds were comfortable and we had an angled view of the sea and sunset. The restaurant was part of the facility and others were within walking distance. The staff was excellent. The dining and bar areas, as well as the outdoor spaces and pool were more modernized and updated.

Cons:

The bathroom was very worn, the tub made buckling when standing to shower and the floor and corners were worse for wear. The small beach is in front of the hotel. There is a concrete walk and low fence separating it from the property.
The beaches in Saint Vincent are public.
We were hugely disappointed that early each morning the beach is completely lined with umbrellas, lounge chairs, drink carts etc. by vendors and filled with cruise ship travelers who are taxied there from the ships moored in Kingstown. Therefore, the beach was extremely loud and crowded with no room for the hotel guests to enjoy the space.
This is no fault of the hotel but would detract us from staying there again.

Peaceful hotel with great staff and an amazing beach
Pros:

The staff was amazing. The pool was beautiful. The beach was perfect all 20 minutes away from the airport, but still quiet and peaceful. A great stay- we will definitely be back.
