Enjoyable stay
Pros:

Room was MASSIVE with gorgeous decor. I had to chuckle as I entered as it felt a little like a palace!

Cons:

A couple of minor bits and pieces:
-some accumulated dust in some corners
-wifi blackspot in master bedroom

Nice place, make sure you get what you booked

Cons:

I booked a city view suite and was placed into a singular room that shared a common area with another room instead of a suite. And had no city view just a back alley. Also not close to anything so costs a bit taxing back and forth from the main city

The location is amazing and the apartment style rooms are very comfortable. Easy access to many tourist sites and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Pros:

Victoria Suites Westlake is a beautiful, elegant, and very clean hotel. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the room was extremely spacious and well equipped with all the necessary amenities. One of the highlights of our stay was the stunning view of West Lake from the room, which made the experience even more special and relaxing. The overall atmosphere made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. I would definitely choose to stay at this hotel again on my next visit to Hanoi.

Cons:

However, one small issue that left us a bit confused was the laundry gel provided in the room. There was no clear notice informing guests that these laundry pods are chargeable. As a result, we used them without realizing there would be an additional cost. It would be helpful if the hotel could clearly inform guests in advance to avoid any misunderstanding.

Felt safe and secure and looked after

Cons:

The advert states ‘sound proofing’, but unfortunately windows in my suite didn’t close properly and let through the wind and noise from the street. Just need to seal the windows properly.

A wonderful apartment to finish off our stay in Vietnam
Pros:

Elegant, spacious and set out was great

Cons:

A lot of noted stains on the furniture and carpeting in the apartment. Holes in the towels. Door to the balcony didn’t lock. Washing machine left in a dirty state. Minor problems which just some ‘TLC’ needed.

Don't WhatsApp your passport details but beautiful hotel in a great location.
Pros:

The room was amazing. It was huge. We didn't take advantage of all the facilities as we were only there one night. Great location. Great views.

Cons:

I was on a cruise and the ship told us we didn't need our passports to check in.. After WhatsApping staff members some questions and pictures of my passport, as the ship suggested and the hotel shared with me 2 pictures of some strangers' passport details as an example of what the picture should look like. I do not want my passport pictures shared with anyone else as this is sharing personal information and can be dangerous

Big house but noisy night and not much eatery nearby. Good for business stay but not for tourist .
Pros:

Cons:

lot of ants around table and kitchens.. The side glass of curtain can see the flat next door. also not easy to figure out how to open the curtain.... at night, there are lot of bars and poeple are daving and karaoke.. morning, some woman made loud sound for dancing near rivver in front of our unit. It's hard to sleep.

Lap of luxury. You feel like royalty during your stay.
Pros:

My room was huge. Big living room, kitchen, big bedroom, nice master bath. Amazing view of the Lake. So nice. Great TV. Nice bed.

Cons:

I was on the second floor close to the street, facing the lake. It was a little noisy from the traffic. It didn’t bother me, I sleep with ear plugs. It that’s an issue, I recommend a higher floor or a city view room in the back.

Comfortable luxurious stay
Pros:

The room was very spacious and luxurious as well. Everything was quite new and maintained very well. You would get a royal feel in the room. The location of the hotel is very nice it's lake facing but you mostly won't be able to enjoy the lake view unless you get the top floor rooms as there are trees by the lakeside park.

Cons:

However, this place is around 5 km from the old quarter where the real activity is happening, shopping, sightseeing, night market, tour pickups you may need to book cabs everytime you go there. Not a big negative because you get more spacious rooms then what you will get in the old quarter.
