The resort is very calm & serene. The place is true to it's name. The teachers gardens around & calm surroundings helps one to relax & enjoy.
The Lemon room is small & doesn't have sufficient space to keep the luggage & personal stuff.
Tucked right in the heart of a lush tea estate with breathtaking valley views, Tea Nest is a beautifully maintained retreat that feels like a world apart. The white colonial cottages blend heritage charm with a contemporary touch, making every corner Instagram-worthy. The glass conservatory restaurant elevates the experience further with excellent food and warm, attentive service — a truly cosy escape done to perfection.
Nothing specific, Since property is in middle of tea estate and at there are wild animals around at night. Property should provide pickup and drop facility to nearby places.
Property and location
Food could have been better
Excellent Property with very kind staff.
Nothing
We loved the location of the hotel. Nestled in the midst of tea plantations, it was quiet, serene, and very pleasant. The lady at the reception was very kind and so were the staff. Excellent Service.
Nothing.
The location and garden awesome. Staff were very helpful. Food tasted good
Nothing to dislike.
Excellent location, polite staff, good rooms, tasty food
Teanest Annex, where Rosemary and Basil are located, is a quaint cottage.
The food is very good. In particular, the breakfast is fantastic.
The staff is very attentive. Nitish and Imam do an excellent job in being very flexible and attentive to guests.
We enjoyed the hammock and playing carrom.
The room that we stayed (Rosemary) in was NOT in Teanest.
While the management has called out that Rosemary and Basil are 700m away from Teanest, they should call out that these two rooms are NOT part of the main Setup, and are in the Annex.
However, Rosemary and Basil are marketed as Teanest, which I feel is not fair / correct.
The Teanest Annex is not as good in terms of space and view as compared to the main Teanest rooms. The Annex has much less space, and non-stop cacophony of religious music through the day and night.
These two rooms in the Annex also do not have the buffet breakfast that the main Teanest property has. On our request, the hotel allowed us to have breakfast buffet in Teanest on one day, but the next day we were too tired to drive from the Annex to Teanest.
It’s a pity that, despite booking two months in advance, experience was sub-optimal because of lack of full information on the room location.
Calm and serene beauty , extremely helpful staff and fresh food
Lemongrass room has dated fixtures, lacks ventilation when glass doors are closed and bathroom does not have fixtures to keep things handy.
very nice location in the middle of tea estate and friendly staff
We were not told at the time of booking that the Basil room was not in the main Teanest property rather it was in an annexe which was 700 mtrs awayfrom the main resort! And was at lonely spot. The breakfast was not same as the main property we had just had idli and medu vada.
However the room was comfortable
Wish there was a vehicle to take us to the main property rather than make us walk uphill all the way there. People coming in from the city are not used to this.
Ligging tussen de theeplantages en tussen de vogelgeluiden
Awesome place in the midst of a beautiful tea garden. Comfortable facilities! Breakfast and dinner was great!
