Great value with good staff.
Pros:

Gorgeous big room, safe lockable foyer downstairs, excellent staff, great value for money. The balcony was lovely to sit on in the morning and evening.

The best day was I woke up early, swung open my door and there was this beautiful large bird on the balcony!! What an amazing site!

Cons:

The noise!!NOT the hotels fault though, the hotel is situated very central. Take ear plugs as it’s sooo noisy all night.
BE AWARE it’s surrounded by brothels-and the men they attract. LOTS of drug addict walking around offering you things to buy, and mentally unwell/homeless people. I wouldn’t take my young kids there, but each to their own-it is PP riverside after all!

Be aware it’s 4 sets of stairs with no lift, like most in PP.

Highly recommend
Pros:

I highly recommend the Sun Chakra as a place to stay in Phnom Penh
The rooms are clean and comfortable.
Great location, close to everything.
The staff were really helpful and friendly.
I will definitely be choosing this hotel again.

Worst hotel of my life (cheap tho)
Pros:

Location is good

Cons:

Room is full of cockroaches, our room smells like cigarettes (room 207) and I spent my first 2 days smelling like cold tobacco. All my clothes were stinking. We had to book another airbnb, my friends didnt want to stay there at all so they left the first night. I stayed one night because its non refundable but this is not worth even 5$ a night. Rats also wander freely in front of your door and in the staircase but I guess thats fine since its not on your bed. Only worth it if you're very very poor or dont mind the smoke smell and cockroaches. Otherwise pay a little more, i ended up paying for a cleaner anyway because the smell was making me sick. Also they don't answer to messages so don't expect any support before you get there.
