This hotel surpassed our expectation and was well within our budget. The staff was friendly and the room was comfortable
Pros:

The man at the front desk during check in was very friendly and was sure to great us with a smile each time we saw him. Our room had plenty of space, and we liked how the couch had a trundle bed too.

Cons:

We truly enjoyed everything about our stay. If I had to choose something I’d just suggest maybe some more breakfast options.

The cleanliness was poor.

Pros:

My husband and I decided this hotel last minute and honestly it is the best experience yet. The staff was great, our room was amazing and clean, no issues on our end.

Cons:

The breakfast. My husband was looking for biscuits and gravy. The eggs had chives so he wouldn't eat them.

Pros:

Caleb was awesome managing the front desk and was able to assist me the issue I had regarding a double booking to the best of his ability.

Cons:

Dakota the assistant general manager had no interest in assisting me with the booking.

Pros:

Staff were very professional, helpful, and friendly. They also accommodated an early check-in need. The room was large, attractive, and the bed/linens were very nice. The breakfast bar was well stocked and had hot and cold choices. They also kept coffee available around the clock ( and it was very flavorful).
I felt completely safe in this hotel ( traveling alone). The rooms were not connected to one another, and the dead bolt on the door was substantial.

Cons:

There was only one luggage trolley for the entire hotel and it was dangerously broken. It fell apart several times on the way to my room.
The carpet in my room had some sticky places. It looked clean, but kept grabbing my socks.
(However, this minor detail was not enough to request a room change).

That the front desk attendant compensated 2 snacks for each of my children 9 and 7.

Cons:

The pool was closed. We live just an hour away from Fort Wayne.
In 2025 my son asked to take a weekend trip to Fort Wayne for his 8th birthday. This is the hotel we chose and it was absolutely the best time for me and my 2 young children.
2026 my son request the same weekend trip for hos 9th birthday because it was such a wonderful time in 2025 I thought we would start a tradition. This year the hotel was terrible.
Upon check-in the young man at the front desk explained the pool situation, my children visibly disappointed I debated on canceling my reservation and going to another hotel with an open pool. The young man at the front desk offered an alternative and explained we could go down the road and purchase a day pass at the YMCA and use their pool.
We went to the YMCA, my kids saw the epic slide and were immediately no longer disappointed. Upon entering the YMCA to obtain a "day pass" I was informed that the employee at the hotel was mistaken and this was not an option unless the hotel has partnered with the YMCA and that the hotel themselves would provide a daypass if they were partnered with ghe YMCA.
I was informed the only way for the kids to swim was to purchase a membership, totally not in this single Mom's budget for this weekend trip. Needless to say my kids were extremely disappointed, they didn't get to swim at all on our weekend getaway. However, we did have a wonderful time doing an escape room for the first time as well as visiting Science Central.

Pros:

A man named Dakota really impressed my daughter who is slightly autistic and when he made her comfortable and smile that was all it took. She thanked him personally and it takes her awhile to warm up to people but the time we checked in she loved his personality.
