the hotel was nice and cheap and very spacious
a few cosmetic faults but nothing major
Buona posizione, camera spaziosa e pulita, letti comodi.
Buona stanza per breve soggiorno a Xi'an. Letti comodi e rapporto qualità prezzo imbattibile.
All good
Good location, very helpful staff, clean rooms, modern facilities, easy check in
This was by far the worst accommodation we’ve stayed at during our six months of travelling through Asia. The surrounding area felt unsafe and was surrounded by noisy construction. The room itself was poorly maintained—there was visible dirt under the beds and large cracks in the flooring near the bathroom, which presented a serious health and safety concern.
Upon arrival, we noticed the TV wasn’t working. When we informed the front desk, the staff member (who was the only person working during our entire three-day stay and wore the same clothes the whole time) casually said, “Oh yeah, it’s broken. I can get someone to fix it, but only tomorrow. Or I can change your room, but only tomorrow.” That response was completely unacceptable. A hotel should be able to assist guests promptly or provide immediate alternatives, not delay everything by a day.
The following day, as we were rushing out, he finally offered a room change—but by then it was too late. We didn’t want anyone entering our room while we were gone.
Later that evening, I asked for a couple of extra towels. He told me that because I had asked for no housekeeping, they hadn’t replaced them—and added that he couldn’t give me any now because “no one is here to get towels.” I pointed out that he was there and could help, and he then said he needed to call someone to bring him the keys to access them, which would take 20–30 minutes. This seemed incredibly unprofessional for a hotel. Eventually, he did bring them after 10 minutes, but I couldn’t help but feel he might have just been trying to avoid helping in the first place.
Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing. The location, cleanliness, and service all fell far below basic expectations.
The guy at reception was really helpful, I looked for him before living to tell him thanks.
Location, room size and overall experience are good. Balcony is nice bonus.
Room smelled like someone was smoking inside. Overall room look is not "fresh".
Thank you to the three guys at the front desk for their kindness and helpfulness. They do a fantastic job despite the occasional language difficulties.
The acoustic insulation needs improving. Guests can be extremely noisy until the small hours, particularly at weekends.
Good bed, room and bathroom. Located in a good street
The receptionists do their utmost to welcome and help guests.
Congratulations to the team of receptionists!
My room was between two large rooms where the guests were noisy. Doors banging sometimes kept me awake till the small hours.
