This really was an exceptional stay and without doubt on of the best places we have ever stayed. Lovely location, very close to the main attractions of the area and surrounded by untouched nature and spectacular landscapes. But most important are the people running this place, they are so nice and the food they prepare is absolutely worth coming for! We will be back one day! Highly recommended!

The property was really clean and the host and everyone working there were extremely friendly, helpful and kind. We were served so much food! The meals were delicious and it felt very safe. The breakfast view was incredible and it’s a short drive to all the lakes. They really take care of you during your stay. Honestly we were a bit sad to leave!

We arrived late at the Hotel Kolsay Eki Agayindy the night before, and it was really dark. When I stepped into the dining room for breakfast the next morning, I was stunned and amazed by the view from the window. I had absolutely no idea I would wake up to something so breathtaking, it completely caught me off guard. It felt like I unlocked a new emotion, being hit by that kind of beauty when I least expected it.

Breakfast were great, they served various kinds of food and the portion was generous. You may opt for dinner as well, which was only 3,000 tenge per person, it was definitely good value for money.

The host could also help to make a reservation for taxi to Kaindy Lake even just a night before.. He told us we could make it to the Kolsay Lake with our own car but must get a driver to Kaindy Lake due to the bad road condition, and it was true.

The hotel was very clean and the views from both the room and the cafeteria were breathtaking. The food was good (although a little bit salty) and the portions were generous. The hotel is not far from Saty and very close to the Kolsay lake.

Everything was so nice. The location, the room (value), the food, the staff.

So to start we didn’t stay at this property because we were late to check in and reached the property by 7:55 pm by then the owner have gave our room to someone else. Said that the owner was very nice to offer us a neighboring property of his friend which from outside looked like a run down under construction house but inside it was brand new property with entire house provided to us. We had dinner at Kolsay Eki Agayindy for a price but it was worth the money with lots of delicious Kazak food with ample quantity. Owner and his mother as well rest of the staffs were friendly and accommodating. We also had breakfast at this property which was very limited offering but still he tried to offer maximum he can and we are very happy.
The place we stayed it’s on problem like heater of the entire home was not ready one of the bathroom was only clean , bed were not made but they weren’t expecting us as guest so it’s ok and we didn’t complain about it.
The entire had beautiful view , it’s a valley between mountain and stream with cows and horses around.
Overall our goal was to visit Kolsai lake and enjoy the country side which was successfully completed. Kids loved to see horses drinking water in the stream , enjoyed the slides and played in the grass and in the cold stream.
So my positive reviews are for the owner and the location !

The hosts were extremely friendly, they made sure we had a great stay. The view from the rooms is spectacular. The property is located in a quiet village in the mountains.
The hosts made us typical Kazakh food, which was delicious.

Fantastic stay and experience. Excellent hospitality. The owners where very welcoming and made us good vegetarian food.
