My stay at this accommodation during my Southeast Asia trip was unfortunately quite disappointing.
Before booking, it was stated that early check-in would be possible, but this was not the case upon arrival. After a long flight, I had to wait around five hours with my luggage before I could check in. Since there was no lobby or common area, I had to find somewhere else to spend that time.
When I returned at 2 PM, I stood outside the gate for about 15 minutes without any response. When I was finally let in, the older man who manages the property already seemed somewhat annoyed, as if I was disturbing him. This immediately made me feel quite unwelcome. The host itself was never present in person and could only be reached via WhatsApp, often replying late or not at all.
Communication was difficult throughout the stay, as the older man did not speak English, so everything had to be handled through Google Translate.
The cleanliness of the accommodation was poor. Although towels were clean and the bedding was acceptable, the rest of the space was not properly cleaned. Mirrors were dirty, sinks had visible residue, and there were hairs on the floor. Overall, it felt neglected.
There were also issues with electricity. When I arrived, the power was initially off, and on my second-to-last evening it went out completely. I received no information or updates and spent the entire evening in the dark. Attempts to contact the host were unsuccessful, and the language barrier prevented any help on-I site. The issue was fixed the next morning, but without any communication.
The apartment itself is spacious, but poorly maintained and oddly equipped. The kitchen, for example, had plenty of plates but no knives and no microwave, despite having a large fridge.
Additionally, the location is not ideal, as it is not central and mostly surrounded by locals, with limited English spoken in the area, which made communication even more difficult.
I liked the spaciousness of the room it looks like somewhere i could of stayed for a few days. The facilities inside where convenient. The bed was comfortable too.
There was a bad smell coming from the bathroom that lingered into the room that was there when we arrived.
