Visiting Hull
Pros:

Convenient location to get into town on the bus. Good apartment with nice facilities.

Cons:

It does say on the blurb, but we didn't like the fact that the hot water runs out! Not great if two of you want nice showers!

Pros:

Convenience for Hull and transport. Efficient maintenance team. Excellent parking . Noise insulation is excellent and the communal areas are very well maintained

Cons:

Combined living kitchen dinning area too small if used by 4 people. Twin bedroom whilst a very nice size had extremely low bed. The double bedroom is small with no bedside lights or drawers.

Pros:

The property was super clean and comfortable worth the price, the owner was very understandable and easy to communicate with I would definitely recommend this stay and I will definitely be coming back.

TRAUMATIC, INHUMANE TREATMENT OF A BABY
Pros:

Upon booking I informed that likely arrival will be 10pm, we arrived just a few minutes after 10pm due to challenging travel conditions and we were left stranded. There was no body, no working contact number- my baby was left stranded on the streets from 10pm- 1am. Booking.com said they couldn't contact the property. Someone called the police. The police tried to help us- they contacted the property but no one was contactable. The police tried calling other hotels to accommodate us as we had a baby and it was almost 1am in the morning and we had been travelling since 6pm- so many hours. The property managers PrimeStays denied the existence of the property although their name was on the front door. With the help of the police, we got another hotel- double tree and paid another £200 for one night. We didn't have any food and our baby was hungry- all restaurants and shops closed. We were driving around Hull until 3am looking for food and we went to sleep at 4am. It was the next day that the property and Booking.com sent us access information and Booking.com and the property are both lying that this information was sent to us. If Booking.com customer service was aware of the property access information- why not tell us or give to us for over 2 hours. The police went through all emails from the date we booked the property looking for any information that will help us gain entry. This property is not reliable, no human customer service, no one to contact in emergency. It was very traumatic to stay at this property. We got in the following day and the beds springs are loud, the doors are noisy, the bedsheets have hairs, not ironed and not suitable especially if you are staying with young children. We are still in process of getting our money to cover the cost of being left stranded at midnight in a city we did not know. Please avoid this property- go to a hotel.

To the property owners- please do business with honesty and care about the lives of your guests.

Booking.com did not know how to access the property or the contact details of the property. AVOID this property. Please read our experience as written above of what happened. Upon arrival at the property, it was immediately apparent that it had not been properly cleaned prior to my stay. I was forced to clean the property myself in order to make it usable, which is not something a paying guest should ever have to do.

Firstly, the fridge was extremely dirty, with visible grime and residue inside. It was unhygienic and unsuitable for storing food without being thoroughly cleaned by me first.

Secondly, the toilet was in a shocking condition. There were visible faecal (poo) marks on the toilet seat, which I found extremely distressing and unsanitary. This was present at check-in and indicates a complete failure to clean and sanitise the bathroom before my arrival.

In addition, the dining table was visibly dirty and sticky, clearly not wiped or cleaned. The cutlery provided was also unclean, with food residue still present, making it unusable without washing. The mugs were similarly dirty and stained, again requiring cleaning before they could be used safely.

Furthermore, the bedding in the larger bedroom was dirty upon arrival. The bed linen did not appear to have been freshly cleaned or changed, which is completely unacceptable for paid accommodation and raised serious concerns regarding hygiene and health standards.

After reporting these issues, a cleaner was sent to the property on a later date. Unfortunately, rather than resolving matters professionally, the cleaner behaved in a disrespectful and difficult manner towards me while changing batteries in the property. This interaction added further stress to an already unacceptable situation and demonstrated a lack of professionalism from someone representing the accommodation provider.

Well-located, clean, and modern apartment with good support, but comfort issues
Pros:

Well-maintained, contemporary secure apartment with a great large shower and lovely festive touches. Excellent location near parks, shops, cafés, and transport links. Fantastic staff support, secure parking, and very helpful QR codes with videos for using appliances. Highly recommended.

Cons:

The main sofa is a sofa bed and not particularly comfortable, and the second bedroom contains futon height single beds. A bathroom door hook would be a helpful addition. We were initially given the wrong door code, and initial support was via an AI assistant. The electric radiators are linked, so turning one off affects all of them -couldn't figure out how to change this.
