We stayed at Coral Strand to celebrate my friend’s birthday, and honestly it turned out to be such a special experience for us.

The staff really made a huge effort, especially the manager Shihan. He was in contact with me during our stay and helped me organize everything for the birthday. He helped with the decorations I brought from Austria, arranged a beautiful dinner right in front of the beach at sunset, and even organized a birthday cake. Everything went smoothly and exactly how I hoped.

What I appreciated even more was how thoughtful they were in general. The day before we left, Shihan came to us during breakfast and offered to arrange a taxi and even prepare breakfast for takeaway because we had to leave early. We didn’t even ask for it, he just thought about it himself, which I found really impressive.

The rooms were very clean and we had a really nice beach view. The beach in front of the hotel is beautiful and the water is amazing. The staff overall was always friendly, quick, and attentive. We never had any issues, everything we ordered or asked for was understood immediately.

The food was also really good. Breakfast had a lot of variety, and dinner was great too. We even tried Indian food for the first time and actually liked it, which surprised us. There are a lot of options (international, Japanese, Indian), so it never gets boring.

For me personally, this hotel felt better than some five-star hotels we’ve been to, especially when it comes to service.

Overall, it was a very memorable stay and they made my friend’s birthday really special. I’m very grateful and would definitely come back.

Our stay at the hotel exceeded all expectations. The hotel accommodated our special requests without any extra charge, and every staff member we met was friendly, caring and genuinely attentive — we truly felt looked after. Our ocean‑view room had an exceptional location with a stunning view. Breakfast was varied, the vegan options were sufficient, and the fresh fruit was absolutely delicious. The beach was clean and well maintained, with plenty of sunbeds available, and the staff were always ready to help move them whenever we wished. A special thank‑you goes to SHIHAN, whose kindness and helpfulness allowed us to stay a bit longer on our last day and enjoy the room before heading to the airport. We highly recommend this hotel and sincerely hope to return one day.

If you are looking for a hotel directly at the beach, great swimming, long walks in the sand and the best sunsets, this is the place you want to be! The hotel underwent nice upgrades. Staff is super friendly and helpful, special shoutout to Mr Shihan & Chamara for their outstanding customer care!

On beach and close to restaurants

The staff was amazing , from the first person i met at the invite who gave the welcoming juice , a very friendly lady ,lydia and of course at the front desk i met Shihan who was very friendly and always checked on me if everything was fine . Very good hospitality

We had a wonderful stay and couldn’t be happier! The staff were incredibly friendly and always went out of their way to make us feel welcome.
The location is absolutely unbeatable — right on the beach, which made every morning and evening magical. Our room was spotless and well-maintained throughout our stay.
The food was tasty and satisfying. While the menu stayed fairly consistent day to day, the quality and flavor were great, so we had no complaints!
What really impressed us was the flexibility when we needed to extend our stay by an extra day — the team offered us a very fair price without any hassle. That kind of hospitality makes all the difference.
Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing beachfront getaway. We’ll definitely be back!

La ubicación es espectacular. Primera linea al mar con una playa larga y bonita.

Das Hotel ist sehr zu empfehlen. Die Anlage ist in die Jahre gekommen, aber die Zimmer sind neu und super schön! Unser Zimmer war im 5. OG und wir hatten eine traumhaft schöne Aussicht!!! Das Zimmer hatte ein separates Schlafzimmer, eine kleine Küche, Ankleidezimmer mit Schmincktisch, tolles Badezimmer und einen grossen Balkon. Die Poolanlage war ok, aber die Lage ist genial. Direkte Strandlage mit Liegen. Handtücher inkllusive. Die Strandpromenade beginnt vom Hotel an und lädt zum bummeln ein. Es gibt einen Supermarkt in der Nähe mit günstigen Preisen! Auch Restaurants sind in der Nähe.
Das Frühstücksbuffet ist umfangreich.
