Severe Health Hazard – Inadequate Cooling and Dangerous Room Conditions

I had to check out early due to an uninhabitable room environment and management's refusal to accommodate a basic safety request. The room was large (over 30 sqm) with windows directly facing the intense afternoon sun, yet it was equipped with an ancient, underpowered 1 HP air conditioner that was entirely incapable of cooling the space.
​By 2:30 PM, the room temperature had reached dangerous levels, triggering a near heat-exhaustion episode. When I demanded a solution, management only offered an electric fan. They had cooler rooms available at the back of the building away from the sun, but refused to move me due to strict "room type" policies, showing zero regard for guest health. I was forced to leave immediately and initiate a formal dispute. Do not stay here.

Pros:

Lovely hotel and the staff were very attentive and couldn't do enough for us. Everywhere was clean and spacious. Nice clean rooftop pool which was great for cooling down and the kids to play in. We've just booked another 4 nights!

Cons:

Space is minimal around the pool but It could benefit from a couple of sun loungers out in the daytime before the bar opens at 3pm.😁
