Wenn ein Zimmer frei ist und ihr nach Gjirokaster wollt, solltet ihr auf jeden Fall buchen! :-)
Pros:

Die Unterkunft sieht genauso aus wie auf den Bildern. Wir hatten unser Zimmer am Ende des Ganges. Der kleine Balkon war sehr süß, das Frühstück auf der Terrasse vorne, welches immer frisch für einen zubereitet wurde und sich täglich änderte war immer sehr lecker und genau passend, damit man gestärkt in den Tag gehen kann. Das Restaurant gegenüber ist ebenfalls sehr zu empfehlen, wir haben uns durch einige Speisen durchprobiert und alles war sehr lecker! Die Lage ist ebenfalls super. Vor Ort gibt es einen Parkplatz, man ist schnell bei der Ali Pasha Bridge und genauso schnell bei der Burg und in der Altstadt. Absolute Empfehlung. Wenn ein Zimmer frei ist, sollte man vorbeischauen :)

Tolle, unscheinbare Unterkunft mit Zimmern mit Wow-Effekt!
Super liebe und gastfreundliche Familie, die diese Unterkunft betreiben. Das Frühstück mit der atemberaubenden Aussicht war ein Traum!

Cons:

Man muss sich bei Anreise mit dem Mietwagen zutrauen die Strecke auf den Berg rauf zu fahren. Aber es lohnt sich!!

Mooie kamer en lekker terras. En supervriendelijk personeel.

Cons:

Ontbijt beperkt en siroop jus d’orange.
De douche lekte enorm ook al kon je de douchecabine afsluiten.

TOP! Jederzeit wieder!!
Pros:

Wir sind schon durch unzählige Länder gereist und täglich ein anderes Hotel in Albanien besucht. Das Sunny Hill war jedoch mit Abstand eines der besten! Die 2 Besitzerinnen waren sehr bemüht und sehr freundlich. Das Dorf mit vielen Ziegen, Schafen und ältere Bewohner die bei der Anfahrt total hilfsbereit und nett waren, damit wir rasch zum Hotel kommen.
Das Zimmer war sehr neu, sauber und perfekt ausgestattet. Frühstück war top. Fragt die Besitzerin nach typisch Albanischen essen, sie hat uns ein top Lokal zu Fuss erreichbar empfohlen mit super essen und top Aussicht neben der Burg. Hier kann man nur 10 Punkte vergeben. Wir würden sofort wieder kommen.

Wunderschöne Zimmer in wundervoller Umgebung. Die Gastgeberinnen waren unglaublich nett, witzig und zuvorkommend. Ich kann jedem empfehlen, dieses Hotel zu buchen.

Ideaal als je Gjirokaster wil bezoeken, maar het drukke de drukte van het centrum wil vermijden
Pros:

Vers ontbijt, geserveerd op het terras voor je kamer.
Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst.
Mooie, nette kamers.
Ligt buiten het drukke centrum, maar toch te voet te bereiken (mits een stevige, kuitenbijtende wandeling)

Cons:

Ook al wisten we op voorhand dat er geen zwembad was, maar het zou een absolute meerwaarde zijn als je zomers reist.

Nous y avons passé 2 nuits. Emplacement au calme, avec une superbe vue, lieu propre, le personnel était très chaleureux, accueillant et au petit soin. Le petit déjeuner était varié et très bon. C'était super.

Warm and gracious hospitality; spectacular views
Pros:

Loved- the host family (so welcoming and friendly); the spotlessly clean rooms( the view over Gjirokaster and the castle; outside the very very busy centre; proximity to Ali Pasha bridge walk; local home made breakfast; laundry service at reasonable price; close to the best little wine bar run by an old lady and her husband who made their own wine and honey; close to restaurant Panoramic Zhuli.

Cons:

As many other accommodations, cash only payment for the stay; couldn’t just nip to centre sights.

Das ist das mit Abstand aller beste Hotel, in dem wir jemals war - und wir sind schon viel in der Welt rumgekommen. Traumhafte Lage bisschen abseits des Trubels mit sagenhaften Blick, super albanischen Frühstück, saubere Zimmer, tolles Restaurant nebenan und die allerbesten Gastgeber, die wir jemals erlebt haben. Trotz der Sprachbarriere haben wir viele großartige Stunden mit ihnen verbracht. Das muss man erlebt haben - einfach großartig. Wir hoffen, dass wir irgendwann wieder dort sein können!
