The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and Roberto's food was delicious.
Pros:

Breakfast is included and delicious . Huge portions and kids can play on the beach when they are done sitting, which makes for a relaxing atmosphere. The rooftop pool is not large but it is absolutely beautiful panoramic views. We went during November and the beach felt nearly empty.

Cons:

We had 1 issue with the drain in our shower but it did not impact our stay. The staff recognized the issue and tried their best to resolve it. Our room was large and comfortable.

Fabulous little place right on the beach at Playa Hermose
Pros:

We really enjoy this boutique hotel right on the beach at Playa Hermosa …. it exceeded our expectations.
We were welcomed by a lovely, young lady at check in and also a cold drink. Our room didn't have a view of the water but was very quiet as I requested as we had a long flight hone the next day. The room was a wonderful surprise … very spacious and beautifully appointed spotlessly clean and with a large bathroom. The bed was very comfortable.
All the staff were pleasant, polite and helpful. Roberto's restaurant was great, and we enjoyed lunch and breakfast there. Overall we were thrilled with our choice and would definitely stay there again. Many thanks to all the staff.

Pros:

Hotel restaurant was best on the beach, we ate there for most meals during 3 day stay, the staff was excellent. Hotel rooftop pool was one of a kind and beautiful view.

Amazing place in every way imagineable
Pros:

The hotel is wonderful. It is a small, boutique hotel with rooms that are good sized and well-appointed. The staff quickly learns your name and how you like things (e.g., when housekeeping comes to the room, how much milk you want in your coffee). All of the employees are very personable and committed to the guests' enjoyment of their stay. The hotel is on a beach, literally, and the sunsets are magnificent. Lots of activities are available directly through the hotel -- we took a sunset cruise and experienced bioluminescence during a magical evening that started and ended right in front of the hotel. Food and service are excellent. By the way, the flan should not be missed!!!

Cons:

Just before our arrival, the area was hit by severe, unseasonal storms. This impacted all of our planned excursions for our visit. Fortunately, things improved dramatically just before we left. The incredibly good food and service, as well as the sunset cruise made the visit more memorable than we anticipated.
