Un oasi di pace tra le colline toscane
Pros:

È stato davvero una sorpresa! In posizione strategica per visitare Siena e Firenze ma allo stesso tempo la sera tornare in albergo era come vivere una vacanza nella vacanza! Immersi nel verde, lontano dal caos in un piccolo angolo di paradiso!
Assolutamente da non perdere la cena al ristorante! Piatti deliziosi!

Avrei preferito avere più luce la sera nell’appartamento ma è una valutazione del tutto personale!

Week end immersi nella natura
Pros:

Posto incantevole in mezzo alla natura con un'accoglienza e un'ospitalità top.
La struttura è un complesso storico ristrutturato con molto gusto che si attiene allo stile originario, e i gestori sono stati la ciliegina sulla torta perché ci hanno fatto sentire come in famiglia, molto attenti all'aspetto green.
Abbiamo scelto di cenare lì ed è stato davvero tutto squisito.

Posto incantevole immerso nel bosco, pacifico, ideale per chi ha voglia di staccare dal caos. Proprietari gentilissimi, disponibili, la cucina merita una nota a parte per la bontà, la qualità degli ingredienti, la ricercatezza da ristorante stellato. Consigliatissimo.

Absolutely delightful! Alice and Daniel are genuinely warm people and excellent hosts. The place is gorgeous, large gardens, lovely views, so many little picnic spots and nature walks around. Location is great too, close to greve, but tucked into a corner. Highly recommend having a self drive car and plan at least 4-5 days here. You'll never want to leave 😊
PS: Alice's signature homemade tiramisu was the best I've ever had.

its a paradise. No, I mean it - its a paradise. Run by the amazing couple this once a monastery, then a farmhouse, and now a guesthouse with one of the greatest restaurants we have ever been to, located virtually on the top of the mountain in the heart of Tuscany, is a place to be. The lady of the house is the chef of their little restaurant and I tell you, its better than all these Michelin-starred restaurants you find in a big city. One can bite the tongue off. They also offer bike rental service and it is a must do in the area where one winery is turning into another. A huge thank you to Daniell and his lovely wife for these three days. It was the highlight of the trip

Geweldig eten magische natuur en uitzicht sober maar prima verblijf
Pros:

Een hele bijzondere plek om te verblijven. Op het eerste gezicht is het allemaal misschien wat ouder en kan het als ik heel eerlijk ben her en der een verfje gebruiken, maar de omgeving, de natuur, en zeker het personeel was geweldig. Daniel en Alice zijn een geweldige gastheer en gastvrouw die 24/7 in touw zijn om het hun gasten naar de zin te maken. Omdat onze wijnsmaak nogal uitgesproken is, en Chianti daar niet echt bij hoort, ging Daniele op zoek naar geschikte wijnen die pasten bij het geweldige eerlijke eten. Zoals alle Italianen kon hij uitgebreid vertellen over elke wijn op de kaart, en zelfs de wijnen die er niet op stonden. Wij gingen een dag naar Florence, wat een wel erg groot contrast was met de rust en zonsondergangen op de berg van San Michele. Een dag hiken daarna was een stuk beter. 5 uur gewandeld zonder ook maar een ziel tegen te komen. Wat een verschil met Ortisei in Val Gardena, waar we eerder waren en wat vergeven was van de vooral Aziatische touristen die bovenop de berg in muiltjes en jurken alleen maar wat bizarre foto's komen nemen, waardoor je het idee had alsof je op de kermis aan het wandelen was, en soms ook gewoon in file. Is er niets aan te merken dan? Ja vast wel, het moet nog wel wat worden opgeknapt, maar de eigenaren zijn pas een paar jaar bezig en werken keihard, met hart en ziel, dus ik kijk er wel doorheen. En de weg ernaartoe is ook best even spannend, zeker als je zoals wij ook nog eens de verkeerde heuvel neemt en in de rimboe terecht komt. Dus kijk goed welke berg je oprijdt, het is een onverhard pad, maar goed te doen. Maar verder, de natuur en uitzichten waren geweldig, net als het eten. Een magische plek, met ook nog eens veel historie, ik gun Daniele en Alice een mooie toekomst en kom over een paar jaar graag nog eens kijken.

Cons:

Het ontbijt was op een dag wat karig, misschien omdat een aantal gasten hun bord wel erg vol hadden geschept.
