Nous avons adoré ce séjour. Koki était super gentil et à l'écoute , il nous a aidé et nous avons passé un super séjour avec lui. Les cabanes sont très bien tout comme la douche et les toilettes. Se réveiller le matin ou se coucher le soir avec la mer à côté est juste fantastique. De plus les repas sont très bon et les déjeuners sont excellents. Cet hôtel est sans aucun doute notre coup de coeur du voyage. Enfin nous avons pu voir le sunrise depuis la plage c'était magnifique nous vous conseillons de le faire. Nous recommandons vivement cet hôtel.
Il faut malgré tout aimer les chiens et être en recherche de tranquilité par rapport au centre animé de Arugam Bay.
Nila est super sympa, l'impression d'être au bout du monde est réelle.

It is a bit hard for me to write this review as we really loved the location and especially Koki the nephew of the owner was super kind and helpful!
Anyways we left after 3 nights but booked 5 nights in the beginning (it was absolutely no problem for them!) as it is a really really basic place and we travelled with a baby and a young child and some things were just hard to handle for us ... 5 years ago as a couple without kids we would have loved the basic gut right on the beach!
Koki also organized a safari for us which was really good!
There was always a lot of guys (5-10) hanging around, especially on Friday afternoon and having loads of arrak and I don't know what else... They were all very friendly and did not really bother us but there is just 1 shared shower with some palm leaves around and 1shared toilet with a 1 m wall around we were missing some privacy... I would recommend you to separate the guest facilities from the hang out place of all your friends!
Owner was very nice, if you like surfing he is really helpful, such a peaceful place to stay with amazing views of the beach for sunrise and sunset , only 10 minute walk from surf break

It was super relaxing. An elephant came close to our cabana during the night. The host was welcoming and friendly.
L’emplacement était superbe, calme et dépaysant. Tout était fermé mais nos hôtes nous ont cuisinés des superbes repas pendant 2 jours.
Koki nous a même trouvé des planches de surf !

Absolutely loved staying here. The beach was super close , short walk to peanut farm surf break . Very easy going indoor outdoor flow . Loved being closed to nature. Nilana was an absolute legend and very helpful!

Good Vibes
The cabanas are super unique and right on the beach. Waking up to the sound of the ocean and a tasty breakfast is amazing. Just a short walk down the beach there’s a surf spot with restaurants and board rentals. It’s the perfect place if you’re looking for something a bit different and really special. Would definitely recommend!
There’s a bus going to Panama from Arugam Bay and the owner of the property helped me to get a tuktuk taxi to the Cabana, so it was no problem that I don’t have a vehicle.

They Cancelled our booking without our knowledge. Very poor customer service.
Sooooo if you are looking for something authentic, cool, cozy, beach view, beautiful, sublime etc..this would definitely be the one!
Wish we could stay longer..
