Extremely Disappointing Experience – Not Recommended

We had one of the worst resort experiences here. Despite having high expectations, the service, facilities, and overall management were far below acceptable standards. Here’s a breakdown of our stay:

1. Unfair Payment Practices:
The resort does not accept credit cards without adding extra charges. These charges are apparently bank-related but are unfairly passed on to the customer, which is highly unprofessional and inconvenient.


2. Poor Check-In Experience:
We had requested an early check-in, which was agreed upon. However, we still arrived at the official check-in time (1:00 PM), and even then, the room was not ready. There was no assistance with luggage — we had to carry everything ourselves. The staff who accompanied us to the room even forgot the room key, causing further delay.
To add to that, we had booked a plunge pool room, but the pool was not cleaned and the filtration system had to be repeatedly requested to be turned on.


3. Substandard Food and Dining Service:
The food was tasteless and poorly prepared — lacking even basic seasoning. The buffet had only 3-4 items, most of which were not even available during the mentioned breakfast hours (8–10 AM). By 9 AM, many items were still missing. There was no water service and no staff present — guests had to help themselves.


4. Room Service & Cleanliness Issues:
When we called for room cleaning the next day, the service was superficial at best. Only after giving specific instructions did the staff clean the room properly. We even raised a complaint with the manager, and while we were offered a complimentary dinner, the quality of service did not improve the next day as expected.


5. Public Pool Hygiene & No Staff:
The public pool was in a terrible state — no staff present, filters not running, and even pieces of onions and tomatoes floating in the water. No towels were provided poolside.

Exceptional
Pros:

It was a perfect place for us for a Safari in Jim Corbett. The hotel is very spacious and the rooms are big and clean. And the hotel staff was wonderful. They helped us with everything we needed it was perfect. The Restaurant is also very good and very tasty. We love to come again
