Great location and value. Not perfect though.
Pros:

The location is probably the best I’ve ever stayed in Tokyo. It’s connected to the Sunshine 60 mall that had a lot of things. Ikebukuro is also just a really nice area in general. It’s not far from the subway stations ~10 min.

Cons:

The room was pretty small and you can tell the room has built up some age. I kept having allergy issues, so I’m assuming it wasn’t amazingly clean.

Ive booked 2 rooms for 4N5D , and the entire 4N ,our AC and exhaust fan is NOT working!!!ive Called them everyday regarding this but i was told that the building is " an old building".My son was very very uncomfortable because the room was so warm, he got a very bad eczema..sweats , scratching , not comfortable in his bed
It was very exhausting and tiring walking around during the day around Tokyo so you expect when u comeback to your room that u gonna be comfortable....disappointed because we were NOT even offered to transfered to another room.I value my hard earned money , and i think ive wasted mine in this hotel.

โรงแรมสะอาด วิวสวยงาม พื้นที่ไม่แคบเกินไปเหมาะสำหรับการจัดของของนักท่องเที่ยวที่ shopping เยอะๆ...อยู่ในห้างสรรพสินค้ามีของขายของกินเยอะ....ที่สำคัญคือสามารถจองรถบัสขึ้นหน้าโรงแรมไปสนามบินได้อย่างสะดวกเลย....ไม่ต้องลากกระเป๋าพะรุงพะรังไปขึ้นรถไฟ...ยอมจ่ายเพิ่มขึ้นอีกนิดหน่อยแต่คุณภาพชีวิตดีแฮปปี้มากครับ...อยากจะกลับมาพักที่นี่อีกเพราะอยู่ในย่านที่เจริญมีร้านค้าเยอะแยะมากมาย...

Aside from the room being warm, the room was nice and clean. Staff were nice and friendly.
Pros:

The room and bathroom were clean. On the booking site I was only able to reserve a room with one bed but was able to upgrade to two beds when we got there. They made it super easy to do. You get discounts when you sign up for their rewards.

Cons:

Because the temperatures were cold outside, they were running the heater in the rooms. I didn’t have an option to switch it to the AC so if you like it cold when you sleep, it won’t be. I had to call the front desk to see what options I had and they brought me a fan.

Convenient city stay before flight
Pros:

Room was clean, spacious compared to other hotels in Tokyo. Close to the Sunshine City Shopping centre with a lot of food and entertainment options. There's shuttle bus service to airport just outside of the hotel. Family mart inside the hotel. Staff was helpful and great luggage storage service! They got luggage delivery service too!

Cons:

10 mins walk from Ikebukuro Station. Quite a long queue waiting for check-in (around 15-20mins). Very busy hotel with a lot of group tour travellers.

Just what I was looking for
Pros:

Airport limousine bus stops there, as well as the IKEBUS that will take you to the main Ikebukuro Station, where you can shop at large department stores and Donki. A taxi was always waiting outside. The back of hotel exits into Sunshine City Mall, with a whole floor of restaurants, and just across the street is a great supermarket and large Seria. For someone like me with limited mobility, awaiting hip replacement surgery, it was perfect.

We stayed in a triple, 313 sq ft, and the room arrangement was great. We didn't feel cramped. The 2 small drawers in the closet sure helped us from not living out of our suitcases entirely.

Staying on the 26th floor gave us access to 2 elevators that bypassed the lower floors. At check-in in times especially, the wait for an elevator was long for the lower floors. On two clear days, we were thrilled to get a view of Mt. Fuji.

Cons:

There was no humidifier in the room, but I suppose we should have asked for one. It would've been nice to have access to Netflix, or youtube, but we found the NHK channel.

The only downside of the room was the step up to the bathroom. ⚠️ Use caution ⚠️ .

Great and convenient
Pros:

Right next to the Sunshine City mall, you can just walk through to the mall from the side entrance, and walking distance (10mins or so) to Ikebukuro Station. Receptionist was very friendly during check-in. We left our luggages early before check-in at 3pm, no issues at all.
Very convenient to have Familymart on Ground/1F open 24hrs. Very spacious and clean room. The view from our room (33F) was spectacular day and night. We booked this hotel also for the airport shuttle service for about $30AUD to go Narita Airport much easier for us especially with our luggages. Will definitely come back again.

Best location in Ikebukuro, you can see Fuji mountain when the sky is clear during sunny days from my room in 36F.
Pros:

I loved the luggage delivery service at reception, it was simple and easy access. The check-out process was also very convenient, you just drop the key card into the machine and you’re done, which saves a lot of time. I don’t think I could find a better location than Sunshine City Prince Hotel. Being connected to the mall made shopping extremely easy. The staff were very helpful and patient when I asked about room upgrade, even showing me pictures of the rooms. I was very happy with the service overall. The city view in my room is prefect during snowy or sunny days, love it!!!

Cons:

The bathroom felt a bit outdated. We were upgraded to a larger room on 36th floor room no.3602 if remember correctly and while the size was great, the yellow couch by the window was heavily stained, which made it feel unclean. The room also doesn’t have individual air conditioning, so it got quite hot at night, especially uncomfortable since I prefer sleeping in a cooler environment and seldomly use heater. The TV was quite old as well with no access to Netflix or Prime. The rubbish bins in the room are too small and old so they’re not very practical. Other than that, everything else was fine.
