Excellent breakfast
Absolutely stunning location. The view from my balcony was unbeatable. Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful.
In a great location, with restaurants and at least one excellent pub, probably more, nearby within easy walking distance. Near to Sligo RFC if you're a rugby fan such as myself. Some incredible uphill hiking directly across the street from the rugby club.
Facilities were extremely clean and comfortable, would definitely return.
There was nothing I disliked.

For the price we paid, we were a bit disappointed there wasn't a breakfast - as in 'the fry'! The self service buffet was ok though
We were welcomed by the receptionist who was absolutely lovely and accommodating and chatted away about the sites and shops and restaurants in the area. We were also upgraded to a room where the bed was in one room and had a little hallway which led into the kitchenette/ living room area with a large window with the view of the mountains and sea. I didn't know the hotel had suites with a kitchenette, it was a lovely surprise! It was lovely and cozy and even had an electric fire in the wall! The break fast in the morning was a continental breakfast (No fry up, which was a little disappointing.) and well stocked up with nice pastries and fruit and cereals. The check out was at 12 so we weren't in a rush in the morning which was fab! I would 100% recommend this lovely place to stay and will definitely book again when visiting strandhill!
