I am a traveling healthcare worker and I traditionally stay in Airbnbs or at another well known hotel group. I’ve never even heard of this property, but I was drawn in by the private in room washer and dryer and how spacious and nice the rooms appeared to be in online pictures. I would not stay at this particular property again.
Pros: washer and dryer in your room!
Room is aesthetically nice and bed is very comfortable
Bed linens and towels are super soft and don’t feel cheap or crusty (but they only give you two towels lol)
The support members of the front desk staff are wonderful
Great, quiet area with sidewalks and a pond- especially nice if you want to walk your dog
Cons: there were long and short curly blacks hairs plastered to the shower wall- I only discovered this because some of the hairs transferred to MY OWN NAKED BODY WHILE I WAS SHOWERING THE NIGHT I CHECKED IN. I checked in at 9 pm (they repeatedly harass you via their app to pick an arrival time so it’s not like they were under a time crunch or needed to do a quick clean to turn my room over) I cleaned the shower with my own cleaning supplies after that
room is outrageously small- there is zero area to exist- for some reason the bathroom is gigantic but there is like 2 square feet of extra space around the bed and the weird mini couch- an enormous desk and an enormous chair that serve zero purpose
Clientele is NOT business travelers or professionals- they are loud, they blare music, and they smoke weed everywhere on and in the property….

It’s hidden! It’s an excellent hidden gem 💎 I absolutely LOVED EVERYTHING about the hotel 🏨 I had the (1) King bedroom suite and it literally was a little apartment equipped with EVERYTHING from the full kitchen to the full washer & dryer set… it’s a very short distance to the St John’s town center and great restaurants I’ll definitely be back again (10) ⭐️’s
It doesn’t allow 3rd party bookings the opportunity for late check out 😤PLEASE FIX THIS!

Smoke detectors was beeping and no one onsite to fix it. My tv didn’t work and no other room available until the next day

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience during checkout completely overshadowed what had otherwise been an excellent stay.
While waiting for our ride, my spouse and I placed the luggage cart in a corner of the lobby where it wasn't blocking anyone. A male employee at the front desk, who never identified himself, told us to move it. We immediately complied and placed it in another location that still wasn't obstructing anyone. At the time, we were the only two people in the lobby.
A few minutes later, he approached us again and claimed the cart was "interfering with everyone else's access." Once again, there was no one else in the lobby. We moved the cart even closer to us to avoid any issue. About five minutes later, he returned and repeated that we were interfering with everyone in the lobby, despite the fact that we were the only guests sitting there quietly, using our phones with headphones while waiting for our transportation.
He then told us we had to leave the lobby and wait outside. I politely asked where he would prefer us to place the luggage cart while we waited for our ride. Instead of answering my question or offering a reasonable solution, he became rude, dismissive, and hostile. He refused to provide any clarification and simply repeated that we had to get out.
As a pregnant woman traveling with my disabled veteran spouse, I found this treatment incredibly disrespectful and lacking in compassion. We were not causing a disturbance, blocking walkways, or bothering anyone. We were simply waiting quietly for our ride.
Because of this employee's behavior, I was forced to stand outside for approximately 40 minutes until our transportation arrived. That experience completely changed my impression of the hotel.
It's unfortunate because I was fully prepared to leave a 10-star review based on the hotel itself and the rest of our stay.
The price and area was good for the most part
Minor flaws in the room. Something’s were broken and not in working condition. Room had an old and mildew smell at first. Was double charged for room

Unser Zimmer war unglaublich schmutzig! Der Duschkopf hing mehr, als er montiert war, der Toilettendeckel war locker, Falttüre zu Waschmaschine und Trockner war defekt, in der Kaffeemaschine waren noch Pads von einem vorigen Gast und in der Waschmaschine lagen noch Handtücher. Die Mitarbeiter am Front Desk sind unglaublich nett, aber das hilft nicht, wenn das übrige Haus verdreckt.

The room was very cute and had everything you needed, including a kitchen with utensils and plates. Perfect for an extended stay like ours, as we stayed for a week! 😊
The elevator usually smelled like weed, and since there’s no housekeeping, it didn’t bother us because we kept the Lysol and washing machine running LOL, but just a heads-up for families that do mind.
