Not bad overall but no breakfast available
Pros:

Hotel is basic but clean and had everything I needed. Bed was very comfortable. Electric (small) corner shower but it was OK. Loads of parking. Hotel ‘restaurant’ is an Indian Restaurant and an attached corner shop handles the checking in

Cons:

The advert on Booking.com said ‘Breakfast Available at Property’ and it isn’t. The Indian Restaurant doesn’t open until 5:30-ish so there are no breakfast facilities. Advert on Booking.com needs changing

Certainly not what's advertised!
Pros:

The hotel was above an Indian restaurant; the food was of a very good standard.

Cons:

Breakfast was advertised when booking, but was not available, was advised when checking in there was a 24 hour McDonalds down the road. The Hotel was advertised as part of a pub / grill / restaurant and images showed this along with typical pub meals, but it was an Indian restaurant only serving Indian food. The room was very cold, the shower was a dribble if you wanted hot water, there was no shower gel, it was empty, had to use shampoo to get washed. Certainly did not get what was advertised .

Nothing too bad but disappointing
Pros:

It was chosen at the last minute because of a car breakdown so availability at short notice

Cons:

Advertised on booking.com as offering breakfast when they don’t, the bathroom door did not close and the hotel uses Macerating toilets they kept waking us up with the noise

Pros:

The location was great, the room was clean and like new. The staff was accommodating and were very helpful. The shower/bathroom facilities were perfect and the place also smelt clean. The bed was comfy. It was a great stay and I would stay again.

Cons:

The free wifi didn't reach room 6 but the staff let me log onto a different wifi which was helpful. There was no hairdryer in the room which would have been good.

I think it would be good to have a leaflet in the room explaining wifi, what time needed to check out, if there is an ironing board that you can collect from reception and any additional information.

Shower inadequate water heat had to abstain from shower , no bedside lamp, no decaf, no biscuits, no drop box to leave key securely. No breakfast

The staff and restaurant were great but the accommodation was poor
Pros:

It’s above an Indian restaurant which was fine as the food was amazing

Cons:

The bedroom had no bedside lights
Tv didn’t work
The bathroom wasn’t cleaned and the bin hadn’t been emptied.
Someone’s top was still in the drawer!

Lovely
Pros:

Easy check in, fabulous staff, room was clean and comfortable. Restuarant was amazing food unreal.

Awful will not be staying there again
Pros:

When this was booked it stated that breakfast would be extra, which we were happy to pay. However, when have an evening meal in the restaurant we were informed that breakfast wasn’t provided. This is unacceptable as our employee needed a breakfast before he started work. On checkout there was nobody in reception to obtain a receipt, which as a business is essential.

I booked it, got there and decided not to stay

My stay was on the sole purpose of having a quiet room, I rang up prior to going to check if the room was in an area that could be quiet, as im a light sleeper and im there working. The owners, are very nice, dont get wrong , but they said yes this is a quiet room.......but my word, it was like putting the bed in the middle of the road.....so so noisy. One person's quiet is another person's noise i suppose.

So I didn't want a scene, or bother with trying to get my money back, so i upped and left and went to the Prem inn up the road.

Place is nice and very clean, its above an Indian restaurant, which the food smelled delicious, and i would have stayed and ate there if I did stay. But for me its all about the noise , the cars screaming past outside was just too much
