What a GREAT Bustard!
Pros:

the included breakfast was excellent. All the produce seemed locally sourced. Every detail of the hotel was considered and well executed. Highly recommended

Cons:

There was some noise, (im very sensitive) I think from the underfloor heating maybe, or plumbing. And also our room was quite close to the back of the pub, so some clanging barrels. But otherwise just excellent

Lovely place
Pros:

Fabulous staff. My elderly mother was ill during our stay and the staff were incredibly helpful, from the manager to the young waitresses and bar staff, they were all a credit to the establishment.

- Beautiful modern design with beautiful dining space
- Helpful staff

Cons:

- Not the hotel itself but the beautiful restaurant which we were so eager to try, is pizza only on Sunday evenings (but the group next to us had a full dining experience) unfortunately one of the “specials” we ordered was extremely salty
- nice modern room but for the price would like to have a hairdryer or a tea area already set up

Pros:

Wow!! What an amazing place to find for a last minute weekend away. An idyllic rural setting, with a stunningly unspoilt river nearby. We even saw an otter swimming along!

Honestly this place is top notch, beautifully decorated accommodation, lovely bed linens and huge extremely comfortable bed complete with electric blackout blinds on the windows. Lovely bathroom too. Staff were warm, friendly and inviting.

But the best thing about this place is the amazing food. Everything we tried was superb, homemade bread and wood fired pizzas for lunch, amazing a La carte meals for dinner. And whatever you do, don’t miss out on breakfast. Homemade marmalade and sourdough toast and the best full English I’ve had in a long time!!

We would stay at the hotel again but would have a more simple meal.
Pros:

Lovely, comfortable and stylish room. Very quiet. Also quiet in the dining room, very pleasant. Breakfast good. Pleasant and helpful staff.

Cons:

Dinner disappointing. I had plaice which came on the bone and which I couldn’t manage to eat. Too bony! I should have said something but didn’t. My husband said his pork was rather bland. Baked Alaska dessert rather strange!

Quiet, Relaxing and secluded getaway
Pros:

I loved the simple decor, the soothing color pallete especially in the bathroom, i do give attention to details and loved the size of sink and its height.. i loved that there was natural light in the bathroom..and the wonderful body products provided..
The food at the restaurant was delightful and top notch
