Pros:

Great room, very comfy bed, very good located - beach is just across the road where you can surf.

Cons:

Breakfast was okay, some homestays in Sri Lanka give a little bit more love into it. But still, this was ok.

Я много путешествую по миру, в моей жизни было сотни разных отелей, но такое отношение пожалуй впервые. Отель очень грязный. Шумоизоляции - 0. Я обнаружил после сна утром в каком состоянии постельное белье и был в ужасе. После этого сна у меня 2 дня почесывалось тело! Самое смешное и печальное что когда я попросил поменять белье - они принесли такое же примерно в пятнах все и как будто оно в целом очень старое! В итоге я решил после первой ночи уехать из этого отеля, хотя изначально забронировал 4 ночи! Самое обидное отель отказался возвращать мне даже половину денег! Это не справедливо! Считаю что такие отели не должны существовать. Если не можете и не умеете вести отельный бизнес - идите работать на кухню или в поле!

Unglaublich wohltuender Aufenthalt, sauber und familiär.
Pros:

Das Sakura Surf Hotel hat mir in den fünf Tagen, die ich dort verbracht habe, das Gefühl eines warmen Zuhauses gegeben. Völlig unerwartet war es die schönste und zugleich sauberste Unterkunft, die ich bisher in Sri Lanka erlebt habe.

Mein Zimmer kam einem Luxuszimmer sehr nahe – und das zu einem mehr als fairen Preis.

Die Lage ist perfekt: direkt gegenüber vom Strand und in unmittelbarer Nähe zu sehr guten Restaurants.

Besonders hervorzuheben ist das überaus freundliche, familiäre und hilfsbereite Personal, das jederzeit für Unterstützung zur Verfügung steht und den Aufenthalt noch besonderer macht.

Pros:

These place was run by lovely staff but the hotel is not ready to open yet. Specifically, there was no hot water and at one point the water went off completely while I was showering- had to use the sink to get soap off. The roof top terrace was not built out yet. It cost 200$ for 3 nights and given the cost of other locations and the facilities not working I wanted to let prospective holiday makers know as the high bookings.com rating did not sadly match the rooms and facilities.
