Staff are awesome and accommodating. Each level has a water dispenser which can dispense Chilled, Warm or Hot water. The room is very clean and spacious. Bed is comfortable. Hotel room that has single-room air condition and a fan. Socket next to the bed comes in very handy. Hotel lobby is spacious, well-ventilated with chairs for guests to sit while waiting. Water dispenser is available at hotel lobby to keep guests hydrated.
The bathroom vanity sink leaks. The hotel lifts require upgrading or the cooling system requires upgrading - lack of air circulation in the lifts.
Good location, walking distance from the main tourist spots. Reasonably quiet.
Hotel looks nice from the outside. Inside has clearly not been updated for a very long time. No air-conditioning in the corridors, old carpets and furniture. Air conditioning unit in the room was very old and loud. It did the job but not the best hotel compared to other places at similar price.
Nice spacious room
Location near favourite spots in old Malacca

WiFi isn't very good, breakfast was cold and not cooked well. Just eat outside for a better experience. Sofa was old and stained.

Heart of famous tourist spots it’s consider ones of the most strategic hotel for those who visit the first time..
Overall is good but look forward if it gets modernize
The location is great, it's a short walk to the historic sites but my room was very quiet with efficient air conditioning. The hotel assisted in arranging an airport transfer, which after a long flight was much appreciated. I didn't choose breakfast as there were so many great eateries nearby.
Strategic location...walking distant to Jonker Street. Room is spacious and clean. The bathtub is hugeeeee
The architecture of the hotel. Bed & pillows were comfy.
Reception wasn’t very accommodating. We arrived just before 2 pm with my 88 year old mother in a wheelchair. We understood the hotel was at low capacity but there was no offer to at least check my elderly mother in for a rest being so close to check in time. I was happy to wait to check in at 3 pm but it would have been nice to show some initiative or flexibility for a tired elderly person from a hospitality standpoint.
The breakfast was dismal - the porridge was coagulated & thick like prison food you see on tv & it looked inedible. Condiments accompanying the porridge left much to be desired. The fried eggs I ordered turned up with both the yolks broken & overcooked. It was like they didn’t care at all. To say we were gobsmacked is an understatement. Very disappointing. I’d rather they didn’t offer free breakfast. There was no effort whatsoever.
