Gutes Hotel, freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal, guter Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungen
Pros:

Kleines, schmales Hotel, nur durch eine Straße von der Küste getrennt; vom Fenster aus konnte man das Meer sehen. Der Frühstücksraum befindet sich im letzten Stockwerk, von hier hat man eine gute Übersicht über den Ortsteil mit dem Hafen.

Très décevant pour un prix très au dessus du marché de l’île.

Cons:

Chambre vue sur mer plus chère mais c'est sur la route et l'isolation est mauvaise donc vous dormez avec les voitures, les bus, les scooters.
Matelas très inconfortable.
Mauvaise odeur dans la salle de bain.
Le prix n’est pas du tout conforme au marché de Cat Ba, deux fois plus cher qu'ailleurs pour une qualité très moyenne.

very nice, clean hotel, just a little out of town (and quieter)
Pros:

Dung lai is a very sweet little hotel, and a bit out of the main town, which was perfect because it was a lot quieter. It’s also very close to one of the docks, if you're interested in taking any of the tours. While it’s not a luxury option, it’s very nice, clean, and comfortable. The beds are a bit hard, but that’s typical for asia.

The lighting could definitely use a change. It's either crazy bright or too dim to see anything. The pot lights are very intense. There’s a mini fridge and a smart TV, but no safe in the room. A/C worked well.

The bathroom’s a bit small, but fine; the shower has good pressure and consistent temperature. As with every hotel bathroom, it could use more hooks! There was shampoo, conditioner, body wash, but no lotion (which is typical for asia).

The breakfast was simple and good quality - everything you need: coffee or tea, juice, fruit, and then choice of eggs and toast, or pho. This hotel also has good views of the bay, and is within walking distance of some nice lookouts.

We’d highly recommend the bioluminescent plankton tour run by blue swimmers just down the road from the hotel. It was absolutely amazing to see the blue lights in the water. You could see the schools of plankton swimming here and there. When you dipped your hand in the water, it looked like blue sparkles were all over it. Very cool experience.

Pros:

Everything was perfect. The staff is very helpful and nice. They organized for us Lan Ha Bay and Ha Long cruise and was amazing. Quiet localization. Rooms was very clean and comfortable with beautiful view.

The staff were friendly and the room was clean.

Cons:

Our air con stopped working and the hot water worked 50% of the time. We paid for a superior room with sea view more than 6 months in advance and got a room with a corner window offering a tiny sea view. (Didn’t match the photo). Breakfast was ok you have to pre order from a menu. What you get doesn’t match the description. Sadly I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Pros:

The view is amazing. I wanted to avoid the construction in town and knew it would be a 15 min walk into town. Kind staff.

Cons:

The noise from the port woke me up at 6am on day. No sound proofing. One can’t say that the beach is nearby which was one thing I had hoped for.

Bonne courte étape pour le départ d'une croisière

Hotel bien situé pour les croisières

Cons:

Les propriétaires ne parlent pas anglais. La salle de bain n 'est pas pratique. Robinets mal installés, Inversion chaud froid. Écoulement de la douche vers la toilette et la chambre. Vue sûre les reste d'un typhon.

Het uitzicht vanuit onze kamer was heel mooi. De kamer was zoals op de foto's. We hebben genoten van ons verblijf hier. Het was rustig en toch kort bij zowel de haven waar veel van de boten vertrekken als bij de stad met vele restaurants. We werden goed geholpen door onze gastheer en we mochten onze bagage op zijn kamer zetten omdat onze bus een paar uur later kwam dan de tijd van de check-out. Zo konden we nog wat gaan wandelen. We raden dit verblijf zeker aan.

Close to harbour but not to town.
Pros:

Friendly family and good view of the harbour from seventh floor dining room. Basic room but spacious.

Cons:

It’s more of a hike into town than expected and not many restaurant options nearby. Tiny bathroom with open shower gets whole room wet. Limited breakfast options and not always what is expected.

Lokalizacja jest dobra , łóżka wygodne, widok też,ale tylko z wyższych pięter,śniadania trzeba dzień wcześniej wybrać z karty i zamówić na konkretną godzinę, do centrum 15 minut spacerkiem po drodze mijając sklepy i restauracje.

Nie polecam oddawać tu prania, pranie było pomieszane z praniem znajomych ,byle jak poskładane i drogie w porównaniu do innych Hoteli
Wybrałam ten Hotel ze względu na widok, niestety byłam bardzo rozczarowana, widok jest taki jak na zdjęciu ale... pierwsze co się rzuca w oczy to po drugie stronie ulicy pustostany na plaży wraki łódek ,to oczywiście nie jest winą hotelu ale takie są realia.Na wyspie trwają budowy, wszędzie jest hałas i kurz
