Nice place and area very good for trekking options.
There are some restaurants and stuff around but not a lot main reasons to go I think would be for hiking and or for water activities beach was very nice.

Nice little getaway place in the northern region of Yambaru. The area is known for beautiful nature and longevity. If you have a car, you can stay here more nights and head out for different hikes. The owners do yoga and teach surfing, so if you are interested, you can arrange a lesson.

If you want to have a quiet time out in nature this guesthouse is a good choice. Though it is located a bit remote, you easily can reach it by Okinawas local bus lines and it is just a 5 minutes walk from the nearest bus stop to the guesthouse. The couple living here is sharing their house with you and both are very welcoming and friendly, english speaking as well. Some areas are shared (e.g. kitchen, living area) but you have your own space as well and can totally relax by looking out to the mountains, gazing at the stars etc. From here you easily can start your excursions down to the local beaches, up into the forrest and mountains by fot or bicycle. The host is also providing surf lessons for all levels and surfboards are available as well. Nearby you can find a range of local restaurants and small supermarkets and convinience stores as well. Everything in the house was working fine, Cleanliness was good and the room was spacisous and as described. The bed was comfortable and there was a lot of space available for clothes etc. A big terrasse can be accessed directly from your room. I really enjoyed my stay here and will stya here again next time I'm in Okinawa.

A very stylish and beautiful house with wonderful hosts. Great location! The whole place smelled amazing, and the bathroom amenities were fantastic. Plus, the view was gorgeous!

Really nice atmosphere, the couple is very friendly! Room was very clean and the view from the balcony is great. You can go to 2 beaches with a free bus or walking 25 minutes. Restaurants and family mart are close to the guest house. Rent a car if you want to enjoy the surrounding even if buses are also available.

Nice room with a huge balcony and awesome mountain view. Host was also friendly, providing some good tips on what to visit in the vicinity.

It was a friendly place, clean & loved the big veranda upstairs where the bedrooms are. Good parking.
There was also a lovely sushi restaurant in walking distance.

The staff is friendly, the place is peaceful.
Many cute cats. And it is valued.
