Great hotel in Burnie, I will be back.
Pros:

New and clean, great TV size and movie selection. Proximity to beach and town central. Best hotel in Burnie.

Cons:

Wash basin is too small. No gym equipment and can hear a bit of noise from port loading / unloading work.

Clean comfortable stay for the one night we stayed. Will be back!
Pros:

Modern and clean room that was very spacious

Cons:

Perhaps the view of port, but I still loved the ocean view and for any little children staying, watching the working port is fascinating.

Pros:

Big room and bed. Nice products. Very pleasant staff. Central location to shops and services. I took advantage of the local cinema which backs on to the hotel. Local cafe's, hotel meals (Ember & Vines) and the restaurant down at the Life Saving Club are all really good.
I also went to an excellent hairdresser called Michelle at Streaks Ahead, just across the street from One North Terrace.

Cons:

The view from the top floor looks over the ocean, which is lovely, but also looks down on the shipping container movement area. It's very interesting to watch but they have long hours, starting early. It's quite noisy.
The bathroom is a little dark, even with all the available lights on. We found a dirty dinner plate in the cupboard and a rug, on the end of the bed, had dubious marks on it. I can't work out why the hotel provides plates, glasses, cups and a kettle, but no toaster. There is no cafe or breakfast service in the block. There was no means by which to wash up, no detergent, only a teacloth. Basically the next people coming in get things that are washed only in water, in a bathroom sink.
