Pros:

Staff were lovely friendly and helpful Room was comfortable very clean with great sea views.Breakfast was good with sufficient choices.
Buffet and entertainment on NYE was very good ..I was traveling alone not part of coach tour ..and was able to enjoy both ...3rd visit to this hotel and will continue to use when visiting Weston-super-Mare

Pros:

Staff were really nice. Bed was very comfy. Lovely location and sea views from the room.

Cons:

It's not that I didn't like it, more of an observation that the hotel is aged and could do with a little tlc. However it does add to the charm.

Beware Elderly Coach Trippers
Pros:

big room with sea view, piping hot water for a bath cooked breakfast nice and hot

Cons:

was all good , but unfortunately they had also, during my stay, an elderly coach party ....and at breakfast we were surrounded by old people moaning about everything and anything .....the staff were fantastic and I applaud them 🙏🙏

Perfect location for walking around the old historical part of the Town inc Prince Consort Gardens,
Pros:

I have been coming to Weston for years but did not know the Anchor Head was open. From the exterior it does not appear to be. I read the reviews which all looked good so gave it a try and was really impressed. Amazing views and the quietest hotel (night time) I have EVER experienced. Great! Really friendly staff and great breakfast. I will be back -with my family next time.

Cons:

I am struggling to find a negative. If pushed .. No mat to step on to when coming out of the shower. That's about it.

Pros:

The location was good. THe individually cooked breakfast was good.

Cons:

The hotel is very tired, decor-wise. The common areas had old-fashioned carpets and wall coverings. The extractor in the bathroom didn't work. The weather was very very hot and the bedroom like an oven. It was hard to sleep. No air con, and no fan provided. The TV had no Netflix.
