Booked a suite… the bathroom was smaller than a oyo room with defective commode seat… asked to downgrade to better deluxe room but hotel did not refund suite booking amount…
Breakfast was excellent. Location is excellent
The value for money is low..it does not give bang for the buck for Rs 3300 per night given that Silchar is a small town. At Rs 2500 or so this would have been an excellent hotel. Housekeeping was poor
Very good team, which includes the front desk (Shanchaita & Prashant), Sapna from restaurant , Mouni from housekeeping and everyone I met. Overall the property is good. We had a comfortable stay.
The bathroom towels MUST need a change , as they are too old and rough to be used. I think the management must pay attention to it as it's the very big flaw in the property and not recommendable for the guests. Looks unhygienic overused. Then their was a strong smell kept coming from the bathroom & upon calling the attention to the housekeeping they simply washed the floor and flushed again and again , which was quite unreasonable as we knew the drill and we wanted a solution. I must flag this to the management and not the staffs as they did their best to serve the guest with utmost courtesy and comfort. So Please carry your own TOWELS!
Breakfast spread was great.. exceeds my expectation
The signage of the Hotel is not so prominent and any outsider can miss the Hotel as the road has very busy traffic

Breakfast buffet could be better, my room 205, mattress was broken, bathroom sink was drainage was bad . Mirror was dirty..
Loved the staff, the ambience, the location. Joy particularly was excellent. Food also was too good. It has a charming colonial feel, and an old world charm.
Somehow the breakfast was not up to the mark. The WiFi also needs improvement.

Check-in got delayed because the reception guy kept calling staff to know which room is ready. It took 10 minutes for them to give a room with a rider that room is okay but the towels will come later. .
Then at the time of booking I asked for an airport shuttle and the replied this will be done with no additional cost. At check in I repeated my request and reception said will confirm by 1800. They did not confirm. At. 2100 I asked them the status. They informed no shuttle. I asked if they can get me a cab. They replied their vehicle is out of service and wanted to give number of some cab driver. A reputable hotel has only one vehicle?
I arranged my vehicle and went to airport.

Breakfast and cleanliness
The Hotel location is great. The room was big and beds were comfortable. The breakfast was good. The staffs were helpful and friendly. The room servce was great.
The shower area in the toilet does not have a screen/curtain. When shower is used, the whole bathroom floor was full of water. Found very messy.

We were harassed by the staffs and management, being a local and getting such traumatic experience in such a reputed hotel is really upsetting.
I have travelled and stayed at some high class hotels but here in Cachar Club hotel, the staffs and faculty members are really disrespectful, doesn't know how to greet and treat.
Hopefully this finds well to other people in selecting this hotel because being a reputed person, you wouldn't wanna get harassed by some localities just because you are a outsider.
The staff and faculty, and the management really sucks. Such disrespectful illiterates are there that u couldn't find any good, how much money u spend.
