Comfortable and convenient
Pros:

Room was spacious, beds were clean and comfortable. It was very convenient for where we needed to be. Didn't use it, but the pool area looked good.

Cons:

Tiles in the bathroom looked like they needed an extra scrub and generally a little extra love for the room e.g. wiping marks off doors, dusting

Excellent, friendly and helpful staff
Pros:

I was visiting Monash University, the accommodation is a nice easy 10-15 minute walk from the campus. The breakfast was excellent and the chef/cook very friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the room was nice. The front desk staff were super helpful, I had to check out early to make my flight and they organised that for me and also booked me a taxi to the airport. Next time I visit Monash I will stay here again.

Mixed feelings
Pros:

It was easy to find and the staff were welcoming. The room was comfortable.

Cons:

I asked for a room that was suitable for a person with a disability and does not do stairs and steps as I walk with a walking stick. I hadn't heard that my request was confirmed on the morning of my stay, so I rang to check and was advised it was all fine. I checked and said "So no steps or stairs?" and the reply was "That's right". When I arrived in the afternoon and booked in I found there were 2 steps from the car Park up to the veranda and there wasn't a hand rail. I had to hang onto the down pipe from the roof. This also meant I couldn't use my trolly to wheel my belongings inside, therefore I had to swing my luggage up onto the veranda and then climb up to take them into my room. I then went to the bathroom and found the shower was over a spa bath, which was too high and dangerous for me to get in. I couldn't face moving everything so I didn't contact the staff to be moved, if they could. Also the Smoke detector had fallen from the ceiling and was in a drawer. I did talk to the man in reception when I left, suggesting that some of the staff might need some training in understanding what disability is and perhaps some sensitive questions to ask in order they can provide what is appropriate.
