Alpine City Place

Stairs, over a bar, parking to far away, inadequate on the part of the landlord.we got locked out (code wouldn’t work). The landlord was on premises but did not introduce herself when we checked in., very upsetting at 11:30 at night to be treated shabbily, actually asked if we were the peeps that were staying there. Good price but not enough care taken.

The rooms are a bit small. This hotel is not staffed; there were loud and rowdy customers in the hallway at night (bachelors party?)

The "hotel" was locked. I proceeded to call the property phone number but there was no answer. I tried to book another hotel through booking.com but was not able. By then was past 8:00pm so we stayed at Quality Inn.

Not for mobility impaired!!! 2 flights of shallow stairs, no help with luggage. HARD TO FIND if you've never been. VERY BASIC room i.e. no cups for water, no tissues, only 1/2 roll of TP (thank God we'd packed emergency roll) Room is actually a little tight with 2 queens..queen + single would've fit better. Actually comparing, I'd say overpriced. No fridge to cool drinks.sink was too shallow to fill my waterflosser(and no cups).

No elevator. Had to drag everything up steps. Located above a bar which was loud and obnoxious until 12:30 AM. We got no sleep. Ceiling fan was nasty with dirt hanging off the edges. Dirt in corners. There was another person in our room when we arrived. There were roaches in the bathroom and on the coffee bar in the day room. No place to park vehicles.

Very hard to find. Walls are so thin and rooms are right above a bar so the music keeps you awake until closing. We had our teenage son with us and we could all hear the neighbor having sex until 3 in the morning and it was so loud they might as well have been in the same room with us.

We were not aware there were so many steps to get to our room.
The room was extremely noisy--we could hear conversations from the bar/restaurant downstairs. Ear plugs were not helpful.
There was a ball of hair in the shower to greet us.
I am not 100% sure the sheets were changed before our visit. They did not look fresh.

Dirty/used sheets. Pillow case had make up and strands of hair from previous guess. A hand towel beneath the bed, I dare not touch and no front desk, more like AirBnB for one room.

The bed was a little soft for my likening. But I loved the blankets and pillows.

I was with my elderly father and the stairs were the problem, I didn’t see it on the listing cause it was way at the bottom. We had asked for one room with two beds and were never told this was an option.

No toilet paper at all in the bathroom. When I texted and emailed about it there was no response. Luckily ran into the guy downstairs and he supplied us.
There is a good bit of road noice from the light on the corner and train nearby but they supply ear plugs.
