Beautifully thought out accommodation in a world-class location!
Pros:

The amazing location of this place is impossible to capture in photographs! When relaxing in the infinity pool the sea stretches out in front of you as far as the eye can see. The pool was never too busy. Well priced drinks and snacks at the pool bar. Numerous amazing spots for sea swimming can be found within 10 minutes' walk of the hotel (some of these are not beaches but places where you can climb into the water from the rocks - but we found them safe and easy to navigate). Beautiful, calm, crystal clear water with 360 views. The apartment was spotlessly clean and the bed comfortable. The family and staff make a special effort to welcome you and make sure all your needs are attended to. We felt thoroughly relaxed by the time of leaving and would return!

Cons:

Not really much. Vegetarians should be aware that they will not find much for dinner in the hotel's own restaurant (breakfast is great with loads of choice!). But I guess that is a reflection of Croatian cuisine. There are other places to eat and drink within walking distance nearby!
Be aware it's not really a place you can easily day trip from, at least not by foot/public transport - any excursion requires minimum 20-minute taxi or car ride. But that is what at we were expecting and to be honest the sun, pool and sea were more than enough to keep us happy for our 6-night stay. :)

- wunderschönes Meer direkt vor der Tür
- tolle und extrem freundliche Gastgeber

Cons:

- im Bad war ober der Dusche Schimmel
- Frühstück war sehr liebevoll gerichtet aber leider war das Gebäck nicht frisch (ausbaufähig)

Amazing property and friendly people.
Pros:

Really good view as you can walk for 2 mins to the beach side. The place is comfortable and beautiful and clean. The staff there are really welcoming and friendly. The service was great! I need to say the food is really delicious because the fish is fresh and grilled. Amazing place!

A place & time to remember. - Sehr gern wieder.
Pros:

Hervorragend ruhige Lage in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Strand und bester Ausgangspunkt zum Wandern. Familiäre und sehr herzliche Atmosphäre. Tolles Frühstück bei Blick aufs Meer. Abendessen (á la carte oder Menü) sehr lecker.

Absolutely everything about our stay was amazing. The location within minutes walk of small coves. Infinity pool beautiful and we even had a swim in October. The food was amazing and our hosts incredible.

Absolutely stunning place, location and stuff.
It was such a lovely stay that I can not imagine better
The host give recommendations, even late free checkout, welcoming you with brunch… the ladies in the kitchen provided every night for me a free apetizer, I have never experienced anywhere else.
The promenade by the sea is a paradise, beach beautiful and clean. The hotel area, gardens, pool, views breathtaking. The best thing was spacious appartment especially balcony where I could practise yoga with both sunrise and sunset.
Calm area great for resting away from crowds

We spent a wonderful September holiday at the Stella Mare 4* hotel in Zavala, a beautiful calm place, stunning views from terrace, clean spacious apartments and excellent beds and mattresses. The hotel provides in a family restaurant with really delicious meals and the breakfast is also served very various. The hotel and staff services are excellent and really professional, very accommodating. We had a wonderful time during our holiday, on beautiful beaches and in the clear sea!
