Great staff, easy check-in. Great location
The hot water system is very bad. You get only very hot water in all pipes and there is no separate cold water pipe if required. Rooms are not very nice as provided in the web
This is in the middle of the action in Paharganj. Not luxurious, but decent, and it's in a lively place.
Room had no hot water for 3 days. They offered complementary breakfast but then charged my card. They are disingenuous. Room was noisy from hotel staff yelling in corridors and doing demolition till mid night each night. I wore earplugs to bed. The men at front desk are not honest just lousy story tellers I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL
In an active neighborhood in Paharganj. Lots of shopping, markets and character. If you are looking for a value hotel and to be in the heart of the action, and to get to know Paharganj and Delhi, then this is a great place. It is not spotless clean, but it is very workable and has a charm that our family enjoyed. The on-site restaurant is clean, nice and convenient.
Hari Porkio is a great place to stay while in the dirty paharganj
Had a 24 hour restaurant and room service. In the heart of the city for shopping. Metro is 10 minutes walk. For the price you pay it is worth it.
Nice location next to the Bazaar
Hari Piorko Hotel in New Dehli, India is a hidden gem. The cost of the lodging is very reasonable. It's not a five star hotel but a 3.5. Very clean, staff is very attentive to a guest comfort and needs. Location is ideal. Located within New Dehli, but a stone's throw from Old Dehli. It is located between 2 metro stations, not to mention the New Railway station. Hotel can arrange cab pickup for a very reasonable fare. However, you can also take the
Airport Express from the airport if a low taxi fare is not within your budget. It's also located on the Main Bazaar street which is lined with various merchants. Of course, you can take the metro to Chandni Chowk metro stop where many more shops are located in Old Dehli by the Red Fort. It' 2 stops away on the metro from the hotel. I originally booked a 5 star hotel in South Dehli only to realized that I would be on the metro for more than half a hour to get to Old Dehli where museums and shopping establishments were located. I canceled that reservation and saved a ton of money. Hari Piorko Hotel is a great place! It's a hidden gem. Clean, great staff and location, location, location makes it a winner!!
Great hotel for the price, my second time there. It is right in middle of a bazaar and you can easily get out and go shopping.
The best bit is the restaurant which has an extensive menu and best food in the area ! Comfy bed and good shower, the only downside is if you get a room on the street front, which I did and it’s very noisy ! Previous time though I was further back in the hotel and it was quiet.
It’s probably not worth paying for an upgraded room - I did last night and got shopfront. The previous stay I did and got a windowless room whereas I booked a cheaper ´fish’ room for my daughter and she got a big bed and it was better overall!
Bathroom is very slippery, no water bottle, tea facility, toiletries provided in the room. One has to buy everything
Family room was looking like not used for months. There was very bad odor in the room whole night, when the air conditioner started that was also not functioning properly. We asked for a different room but refused saying no other room available for family.
Great stay well in New Delhi. The bed was comfortable. The room was very clean. Jyoti, Ajay, and Raja were great at the front desk. And all the guys in the restaurant take great care. The food is simple and prepared fresh. And they even have room service late night. The street can be a bit noisy but I had a room in the back and you could not hear anything. Not a fancy part of New Delhi but I felt safe.
Hot water only after 8 PM.
Ok property, typical Indian hotel in a busy market place. Everything is close by. Clothes shopping and connaught place are walking distance.
More dining options should be given for guests.
it was good overall
We've stayed at the Hari Pioko many times now and we love it. Affordable, clean and great staff.
The reviews are pretty accurate: clean hotel, comfortable room and bed (at least, in their upscale category), hot water,
etc. The neighborhood is a market - with its pro and con. On the down side - restaurant is expensive for the food it serves,
there is construction work with its ensuing noise and dust, and acoustic isolation between rooms is lacking. For the price, the balance is positive.
Could be cleaner, some rooms smell musty/mouldy. Service was good. Felt safe. Good location, lots of shops and restaurants nearby.
